Frequently asked questions

The Creative Rooms require a minimum food and beverage spend of £5,000 excluding VAT and 12.5% service charge. For larger events using multiple rooms, minimum spends can reach £10,000 for evening events or £8,000 for day conferences with room hire fees.

Room hire fees vary by space and event type. Creative Rooms typically charge £8,000-£10,000 excluding VAT for room hire, while smaller configurations may be £2,000 excluding VAT. These fees are in addition to the minimum food and beverage spend requirements.

The Creative Rooms can accommodate up to 150 guests in theatre style when using rooms 4, 5 & 6 combined. Individual Creative Rooms handle smaller groups, with cabaret style seating for 60 guests and standing receptions for up to 150 people when multiple rooms are combined.

Day events typically run 9am-5pm with 60-90 minutes included for setup and breakdown. Evening events usually have access from 6pm-midnight or 1am. Setup time of 90 minutes before and after is included in most quotes.

Standard AV includes video-conferencing facilities with one screen per Creative Room, PA speakers with 2 wired microphones, and Wi-Fi. Projector usage in the Art Gallery costs £576 including VAT, and LED display customization is £105 including VAT per hour with a 4-hour minimum.

The DDR package costs £115-£139 including VAT per person per day (minimum 60-80 guests depending on quote). It includes unlimited tea and coffee, 3 servings of pastries/cakes/cookies, infused water, working lunch buffet, stationery, flipcharts, and basic AV equipment.

A deposit of 50% of the minimum spend is required to confirm your event. The remaining balance is charged 30 days prior to your event date. All food and beverage pre-orders must be submitted 14 days before your booking date.

The venue has restrictions on music and event timings that prevent accommodation of late-night DJ events or boiler room style parties. Events with loud music or those running past midnight may not be permitted due to hotel operational constraints.

Yes, Creative Rooms 4, 5 & 6 can be combined to accommodate up to 150 guests in theatre style or standing reception format. Additional Creative Rooms 7, 8, 9 & 10 can serve as catering spaces when multiple rooms are hired together.

Business events can choose DDR packages with working lunch buffets, or evening minimum spends with canapes and tray service. The venue does not provide buffet style for evening service but offers canapes and mini bowls with tray service instead.
