What are the capacity limits and layout options for the Creative Rooms?
Creative Rooms 1-3 can accommodate 50 boardroom style, 70 cabaret style, or 100 theatre style. The spaces can be used as one large open area or split into 1, 2, or 3 separate rooms depending on your needs. Maximum cabaret capacity with screen is 70 attendees.
What are the standard operating hours and extension costs?
Day room hire runs between 9am-5pm for DDR packages, or 1pm-4pm for room-only bookings. Any extensions beyond these times may incur additional charges and are subject to availability. Early access from 8am can be arranged for setup.
What AV equipment and technical facilities are included?
All Creative Rooms include complimentary use of in-built screens and Wi-Fi suitable for emails and web browsing. Additional AV equipment like extra large screens, sound systems, and handheld microphones can be arranged but would need to be quoted separately.
What catering and refreshment options are available?
Room-only bookings include bottled still and sparkling filtered water. DDR packages include up to three scheduled tea/coffee servings with chef's selection of snacks, plus lunch served in the pre-function space or meeting room. Additional catering can be arranged through Tozi restaurant with sharing concept menus.
What additional facilities and amenities are included?
The Creative Rooms include complimentary access to pre-function space, in-built cloakroom, exclusive toilets, private bar area, and one flipchart with pens and paper (DDR packages only). The spaces are located on the ground floor with breakout space available.
Are there any natural light or basement restrictions?
The Creative Rooms do not have natural daylight, which may be a consideration for some events. The venue specifically asks clients if they would still consider the space given this limitation.
What is the booking process and payment structure?
Initial enquiries are handled by the Events team who will check availability and provide quotes. Provisional holds can be placed on dates while finalizing details. The venue requires specific information about event type, setup style, budget, and whether exclusive or semi-exclusive use is needed.
Can external suppliers and entertainment be brought in?
DJs and entertainment need to be quoted and booked separately with the venue's entertainment team. The venue appears flexible with external suppliers but specific approval processes and restrictions would need to be confirmed during booking.
What are the minimum spend requirements for food and beverage?
