Frequently asked questions

Payment is required in two installments: 50% due upon signing the contract and the remaining 50% due 30 days before your event. All catering costs for food and beverages must be pre-ordered and settled before the event to cover staffing costs.

External catering requires a £3,000 kitchen buyout fee. The venue strongly prefers to use their in-house catering team, Blue Strawberry, which handles all food and beverage requirements including staffing.

The Chairman's Room (22 capacity) is priced at £200 per hour plus VAT. The Court of Quarter is priced at £150 per hour plus VAT. Meeting room bookings can be made through the Knotel app at app.knotel.com.

Yes, the venue has lift access from street level that takes you directly to the Dining Room, and accessible toilets are available. This ensures full accessibility for guests who require step-free access.

Security is provided on-site during events and the venue can arrange signage to direct guests to your specific event space. The security team can also check people in when they enter the building.

Yes, the venue can host multiple events concurrently in different spaces. For example, events can run in the Dining Room while other events take place in the Great Room and Bar, with proper signage and guest direction provided.

Events typically finish by 9pm for smaller gatherings, though larger events in other spaces can run until 11:30pm. The venue provides flexibility with timing but maintains clear guidelines for different event types and spaces.

Bookings require a signed contract with the venue manager who will break down all costs. For meeting rooms, you can book directly through the Knotel app, while larger events require direct coordination with the venue management team.

All catering is handled by Blue Strawberry, the venue's in-house catering team. They provide custom quotes for events and can accommodate various requirements from welcome drinks and canapes to food stations and full meal service.

The Chairman's Room accommodates up to 22 people and is recommended for groups of 15-18. The Court of Quarter and other meeting spaces are available with different capacities to suit various group sizes and meeting formats.
