With direct access from the building reception, the Press room us our most adaptable event space, allowing for a variety of layouts to support any type of business event; including town halls, training days, drinks receptions, remote hearings and more.

The adjoining Codex meeting room is ideal for breakout sessions for up to 20 guests on a boardroom style set up.




Frequently asked questions

The Press room costs £2,520 + VAT for full-day hire and accommodates 120 people for reception style, 60 theatre style, 40 banquet, or 40 half moon layout. The rate includes built-in AV equipment: 55" screen with video conferencing facilities, flipchart, and 2 roaming microphones with USB and HDMI connections.

The venue operates Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm only. Weekend bookings are not available, and the venue does not accommodate events on Sundays or outside standard business hours.

External catering is permitted but requires a corkage fee of £750 + VAT. Alternatively, MYO works with BM caterers for in-house catering, with tea and coffee charged at £3.50 + VAT per person.

No, the 6th floor lounge is only available for hire from 6pm onwards during operational hours. Setup can typically begin from 5:30pm, and the space costs £2,400 + VAT for hire from 6pm to 9pm.

The Codex boardroom is available for up to 20 guests in boardroom style setup and can be hired alongside the Press room for breakout sessions. There's also a Ground Floor Lounge available for £250 + VAT as a breakout space.

No, MYO New Street Square does not have on-site parking available for external members or event guests. You will need to arrange alternative parking in the surrounding area.

BM caterers provide various options including Light Breakfast at £19.50 per person, Gourmet Working Lunch at £25.85 per person, and drinks packages. Most catering items have a minimum order of 4 people, and tea/coffee is charged separately at £3.50 + VAT per person.

Yes, you can blue tac posters onto walls and windows for workshop exercises in the Press room. This flexibility makes it suitable for interactive training sessions and collaborative workshops.
