Frequently asked questions

The Press events space costs £2,520 + VAT for full-day hire and accommodates 120 people for reception-style events, 60 in theatre style, or 40 for banquet/half moon layouts. The 6th Floor Lounge with rooftop terrace is available for £2,400 + VAT for evening hire (18:00-21:00) and is ideal for drinks receptions and networking events.

The 6th Floor Lounge is only available from 18:00 onwards during operational hours, as it's a shared space with MYO members during the day. Setup can typically begin from 17:30, making it exclusively suitable for evening events and receptions.

The Press space includes a 55" screen with video conferencing facilities, flipchart, 2x roaming microphones, USB and HDMI connections. The AV equipment is built-in and included in the hire price at no additional cost.

MYO collaborates with BM caterers for food service. Tea and coffee cost £3.50 + VAT per person, light breakfast is £19.50 per person, and gourmet working lunch is £25.85 per person. For drinks receptions, they offer packages including 5 drinks and either 5 bowl food dishes (£156 per person) or 6 canapes (£118.80 per person).

External food is permitted but requires a corkage fee of £750 + VAT. This fee applies regardless of the type or amount of external catering brought to the venue.

MYO New Street Square operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Weekend bookings are not available, and the venue does not accommodate events on Sundays or outside standard business hours (except for the 6th Floor Lounge evening hire).

No, there is no on-site parking available for external members or event guests. Attendees will need to arrange alternative parking or use public transport.

The Press space can be arranged in cabaret layout with round tables, and there's ability to use blue tac to attach posters onto walls and windows for workshop exercises. The space offers flexibility for different event formats within the capacity constraints.
