Frequently asked questions

Screen 1 (119 seats) costs £1,284 + VAT per slot Monday-Tuesday, and £1,835 + VAT per slot Wednesday-Sunday. Weekend slots are 12:00-3pm, 3pm-6pm, 6pm-9pm, or 8:30pm-11:30pm - if you need two consecutive slots, the price doubles. Full day hire (7am-5pm) costs £4,250 + VAT.

The hire includes screen, projector, up to 3 handheld microphones, technical support, and a 30-minute to 1-hour technical rehearsal at 10:30am on event day. Content must be delivered in DCP format 72 hours before the technical rehearsal, or you'll pay £500 + VAT for format conversion. Additional fees apply for late delivery or missed rehearsals.

There are 4 wireless microphones on site total, so maximum 2 per screen if using multiple screens. The microphones cannot be easily moved between screens during an event, so if you need 3 microphones for Q&As, you'll need to choose one screen only.

Exclusive bar hire costs £300 + VAT per hour for up to 125 people standing. This covers exclusive use of the space but does not include any food or drinks - those are charged separately with no minimum spend requirements and no service charges added.

Standard service is a maximum tab limit with self-service selection of house wine, prosecco, beers and soft drinks that staff replenish. Budget £6 per person per drink for this service. Specialty drinks like cocktails, G&Ts and hard seltzer cans require pre-ordering at agreed prices.

In-house options include tea/coffee receptions, breakfast items, pizzas and light bites. External caterers are available for other requirements. All food orders must be placed 2 weeks before your event to ensure staffing and stock - orders cannot be guaranteed after this deadline.

Yes, laptops can be connected to the screen for presentations. Both regular laptops and Apple laptops work if they have HDMI adaptors. The venue recommends consolidating all content onto one laptop to avoid transitions between multiple devices during the event.

Organisers typically arrive 1 hour before guests (e.g., 7pm organiser arrival for 8pm guest arrival). Events can run until approximately 11:45pm with 5-10 minutes needed for room clearing after screenings. Your on-site contact will go over the running sheet when you arrive.

A branding package is offered alongside events which includes use of the canopy or readograph, plus takeover of all quad posters and digital screens throughout the venue. This allows comprehensive venue branding for your event.

The venue takes bookings for dates from 18th July onwards (as of current communications). Bookings require a countersigned contract to be confirmed - until you have this back, the booking is not confirmed even if dates are held or quoted.
