What are the minimum spend requirements for private room bookings?
The Ruby private room (up to 65 guests) requires a minimum spend of £4,600-£5,200 including VAT plus 12.5% service charge, depending on timing and date. The Rose room (up to 25 guests) has lower minimum spends. All minimum spends cover food, drinks, and mini golf combined.
What capacity limits apply to different areas of the venue?
The Ruby private room accommodates up to 65 guests, Rose room up to 25 guests, restaurant area up to 75 seated or 220 standing when combined with private rooms. For presentations, maximum theatre-style seating is 120 people spread across three spaces (60 in restaurant, 45 in Ruby room, 15 in Rose room).
How long does mini golf take and how is it organized?
Mini golf takes approximately 30 minutes per team of up to 6 people, with teams teeing off a few minutes apart. For 30 people expect 45 minutes total, for 120 people expect 2 hours, and for 150 people expect 2.5 hours to complete all 9 holes.
What are the booking deposit and payment requirements?
A 25% deposit of the minimum spend is required to secure bookings, with the remaining balance due at least 30 days prior to the event date. Some bookings within 30 days require full non-refundable prepayment due to the cancellation policy.
What AV equipment is included and what needs to be brought?
Ruby room includes a large plasma screen, Rose room has a small TV, and restaurant area has a big screen with projector. Microphones are available, but HDMI cables must be brought by clients to connect devices to screens.
Are there restrictions on event timing and days of the week?
DJs are not permitted on Sundays and the venue closes at 22:00 on Sundays. Saturday bookings may have higher minimum spends and DJs typically start earlier than 21:30. Kitchen opens at 12:00, so food packages are only available from noon onwards.
What food and beverage packages are required?
Christmas packages are mandatory during the Christmas period, including globally inspired food served buffet-style, drinks, and mini golf. All guests must choose the same package unless dietary requirements apply. Any remaining balance from minimum spend becomes a bar tab.
How far in advance must dietary requirements and drinks be ordered?
Drinks pre-orders and dietary requirements must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the booking date for most events, though some bookings require details 14 days in advance. Fully vegan, gluten-free, or nut-free packages are available when specified.
What is the service charge policy?
A 12.5% optional service charge is added to all bills on top of the minimum spend. This applies to all food, drinks, and golf charges and is separate from the base minimum spend requirement.
Can clients bring their own music and decorations?
Clients can play their own music in the Ruby room. The venue works on a live booking system where availability is subject to change, and site visits can be arranged to view spaces and discuss decoration possibilities.
