Frequently asked questions

The minimum beverage spend varies by day: Monday-Wednesday is £5,000 +VAT, Thursday is £10,000 +VAT, and Saturday evening is £5,000 +VAT. All bookings include an additional 7.5% service charge on the minimum spend, plus food costs on top.

The Pop-up space (The Arches) has a capacity of 150 people for standing events. For semi-private bookings, The Arch space accommodates up to 70 people with its own private bar and dedicated staff.

Private hire is not available on Friday nights, Saturdays, or Sundays that fall within bank holidays. Other Sundays are available for private hire, along with Monday through Thursday.

The space includes an in-house sound system, DJ booth, projector screen, and microphone. Bands can use the same sound system with various connectors available, and there's onsite equipment that DJs can plug into the surround sound system.

If guests purchase their own drinks and reach the minimum spend, the amount can be refunded post-event. The venue tracks spending through a dedicated till, and refunds are processed by the accounts team within 7 days of the event upon request.

The venue doesn't have on-site food offerings but works with local food vendors from Brixton Village Market. Food can be pre-ordered from vendors like Mamma Dough, Jalisco, or The Laundry, with the team collecting orders and delivering to your area.

Loading and unloading of equipment is typically done via drop-off, though specific entrance details for band equipment and setup should be confirmed with the events team. The venue has disabled access and staging areas available for performances.

Live bands require a TENs (Temporary Event Notice) application which must be approved in advance. Band performances typically end at 8pm, after which DJ music can continue until the end of the event using the venue's sound system.

Payment is required via bank transfer with invoices issued in advance. The venue accepts payment by card if bank transfer limits are exceeded. Service charges can be requested for refund within 7 days post-event if desired.
