Frequently asked questions

Room hire for Remix 1+2 ranges from £2,950 to £3,700 per day depending on demand and availability. This includes hire of the meeting room, complimentary Wi-Fi access for all delegates, still and sparkling mineral water, 85'' TV with HDMI cable, and 1 flipchart. Some bookings may require a minimum food and beverage spend of £2,500 in addition to room hire.

Remix 1+2 can accommodate up to 200 people in a reception layout, 135 people in cabaret setup (9 people per table), and up to 200 people in theatre style. The space measures 27m x 10m and can also accommodate up to 15 exhibition stands if required.

Multiple catering options are available including: unlimited tea and coffee throughout the day (£17.50 per person), sandwich lunch with crisps and fruit (£17.50 per person), hot and cold fork buffet with restaurant service (£29.00 per person), and working buffet with sandwiches, salads and finger food (£24.50 per person). Classic canapés start at £16 per person for 4 items or £23 for 6 items.

Initial proposals are typically valid for 7 days, after which the space may be released or offered on a shared option to other bookers. Some bookings are placed on 'shared option' meaning multiple clients may be holding the same dates, with the first to sign a contract securing the space. Commission is paid at 10% on gross rate for applicable bookings.

Basic AV includes an 85'' TV with HDMI cable, screen, LCD projector and flipchart. Additional AV equipment is hired externally from trusted suppliers: PA system from £650, microphones from £90 each, and AV technician from £650. Large conference live streaming equipment with up to 5 cameras costs £3,300 per day.

External catering requires at least two weeks advance notice to secure necessary approvals. For simple items like sandwiches, a form must be signed acknowledging you're bringing external food. Kitchen access is not typically provided for external caterers, and short-notice requests (less than two weeks) are generally not accommodated.

Events typically run from 12:00-17:00 for day events, though timing can be flexible.
