Rich Mix

Screen 3 costs £550 per hour for cinema screenings with a 2-hour minimum. The Studio costs £1,525 + VAT for a 5-hour evening hire (6:30pm-11:30pm) including one bar staff member. The Streetside room has a day rate of £600 + VAT plus a £400 refundable damage deposit. Technician services cost £125-£280 + VAT depending on requirements.

Screen 3 accommodates up to 59 guests and is wheelchair accessible with 2 spots. The Studio can seat up to 150 people in seated configurations or 100 in cabaret style with space for additional chairs. The Mix can accommodate 180 seated or 300 standing. The Boardroom and Lab have a maximum capacity of 20 people each.

The Streetside room prohibits amplified music due to noise restrictions and is non-exclusive as it has stairs accessing escape rooms. The venue closes at 9pm, so events must end by then unless special arrangements are made. Rich Mix does not allow discounts through third-party booking platforms like Hire Space.

Cinema spaces have a 2-hour minimum hire requirement. Most event spaces have a 4-hour minimum hire. The venue operates from 9am-9pm. Events requesting times beyond these hours (like 11pm finishes) are not accommodated as the venue would be closed.

Rich Mix offers internal catering including refreshment stations at £3.50 + VAT per person per service, drinks tokens at £5 + VAT each for wine/beer/soft drinks, and canapé receptions from £13-£69 per person. External caterers are permitted but incur a 10% corkage fee. The venue does not have a usable kitchen for caterer preparation.

Cinema screens include powerful projectors and PA systems. The Studio includes screens, projection capabilities, lighting rigs, and staging options. Additional AV costs include projection at £75 + VAT, PA systems with 4 mics at £155 + VAT, and technician services at £125-£280 + VAT. The venue does not provide keyboards for music events.

The venue requires initial discussions via phone or site visit before providing quotes. Provisional bookings are held temporarily, with follow-up deadlines typically given (such as releasing dates if no response by a specific date). Direct bookings are preferred over third-party platforms, and charity discounts of 20% are available for registered charities only.

The venue may have festivals or major events that affect availability, such as a big festival on June 2nd that would make that date unavailable. Flexibility on dates is often requested, with the week before or after preferred dates sometimes suggested. Some spaces may be occupied during specific time slots, requiring events to work around existing bookings.

One event services staff member is included complimentary with most bookings. Additional service staff cost £396 + VAT for two staff members. Bar staff can be included (one staff member included with Studio hire). The venue can accommodate external decorations and provides furniture options including 6ft trestles with black linen at £80 + VAT for 10 tables.

External caterers are allowed but subject to a 10% corkage fee. External decorations are permitted. The venue works with external suppliers for dinner services since they don't have a usable kitchen. Clients can bring their own filming equipment, and the venue can accommodate wheelchair accessibility in Screen 3 with 2 designated spots.
