What is the pricing for film and photo shoots at The Artist's Loft?

The venue charges £600 + VAT for a half-day booking for filming and photography events. For full-day bookings, pricing starts at £1050 + VAT for 9am-5pm sessions. Late night bookings incur higher fees than standard daytime rates.

What is the maximum capacity for film and photo shoots?

The space accommodates a maximum of 15 people for filming and photography events. This includes crew, talent, and any support staff on site during the shoot.

Can I deliver equipment the day before my shoot?

Equipment delivery and storage the day before your event is possible but incurs an additional fee to be discussed with the owner. The exact amount depends on the complexity and size of equipment being stored.

What parking options are available near the venue?

There is metered on-street parking close to the venue (8:30am-6:30pm, maximum 4 hours). Outside these hours, parking is free and unlimited. The nearest multi-storey car park is at 11 Clere St, London EC2A 4LJ (open 6:30am-7pm).

What payment is required and when?

You must pay the booking fee at least 7 days before the event via bank transfer or payment link (payment link incurs a 2% Stripe fee). A refundable damage deposit of 30% of the booking fee is also required at least 7 days before the event, refunded within 7 days after if no damage occurs.

What insurance and documentation is required?

You must submit your company's certificate of liability insurance as part of the booking process. A location agreement must also be signed before the event can proceed.

Are there any restrictions on the type of filming allowed?

The space is not suitable for events with loud music or performances due to nearby neighbours. Live band performances and similar noisy activities are not permitted at this venue.

What equipment and facilities are included in the space?

The venue includes a projector, screen, flipchart, and fully equipped kitchen. Post-event cleaning is included in the hire price, though additional cleaning during the event incurs extra charges.

Can I use the space for blackout photography or controlled lighting?

The venue appears to have window treatments available, though specific blackout capabilities would need to be confirmed. You can bring your own blackout equipment if needed for your shoot requirements.

What is the booking process timeline?

After providing event details, they share information with the owner for final confirmation and provide a final quote. Upon quote acceptance, you sign the location agreement, pay the booking fee and damage deposit (both at least 7 days before), and submit insurance documentation.
