Our North Lawn is an ideal spot, located in central London, a large lawn with potential to transform into your perfect outside events space. It can be hired with a stretched tent that can host 300 guests, or hired on a dry hire basis.

Frequently asked questions

Lincoln's Inn is closed for the entire month of August and during Easter from 17th April at 15:00, reopening on 28th April. These closure periods are fixed and no events can be held during these times.

Meeting spaces require a minimum of 30 guests. For events requiring the Old Hall or Crypt, there's a minimum of 120 guests for dinner events. Day delegate rate packages are available for 90 to 158 delegates.

Events can typically run until 16:00 with all guests departed by 16:30 for daytime events. Evening events in spaces like the Old Hall can run until 22:30 with de-rig by 23:00, though extensions may be available for an additional cost.

Outside food is strictly prohibited - all catering must be provided by Lincoln's Inn's in-house catering team. There may be additional small fees depending on external caterer requirements, but this would need to be discussed with the venue.

The Old Hall dry hire costs £6,600 + VAT. Room hire for events varies significantly - for example, the Great Hall and lawn hire between 11:00-16:00 costs £7,350 + VAT, while Old Hall and Crypt evening hire can be £2,750 + VAT.

Minimum food and beverage spends vary by event size and space. Examples include £7,310 for smaller Old Hall events, £13,950 + VAT for Great Hall and lawn events, and £18,600 for larger evening events in the Great Hall.

Day delegate rates start from £91 + VAT per person (minimum 140 guests) and can go up to £127.20 + VAT per person. Packages typically include room hire from 09:00-17:00, AV equipment with technician, arrival refreshments, mid-morning and afternoon breaks, and a two-course hot fork buffet lunch.

The venue is not suitable for sixth form proms and has declined certain event types. Events requiring loud music or DJ setups may have restrictions, and the venue appears to cater more toward corporate, academic, and formal social events rather than casual celebrations.

Christmas packages are available at £176 + VAT per person (minimum 90 guests). The package includes hire of the Old Hall and Crypt, arrival champagne reception, unlimited drinks (spirits, wine, beer, sparkling wine), nibbles, 5 canapés and 3 bowl food items.

The Ashworth Centre lecture theatre accommodates up to 130-158 guests. The Old Hall suits 120 for dinner or smaller gatherings. The Great Hall can handle larger events up to 280 for dinner. The lawn can accommodate 100-120 people on yoga mats for fitness events.
