Frequently asked questions

Room hire starts from £4,000 for smaller spaces like the Tower Suite (minimum 30 guests) and ranges up to £4,500-£6,000 for larger spaces like The Drawing Room. The Tower Suite accommodates up to 36 guests and is available 18:30-23:00, while larger spaces can accommodate 100+ guests in cabaret style. All room hire prices are subject to 20% VAT.

Day Delegate Rate is £165 per person (£198 including VAT) covering arrival refreshments, breaks, and buffet lunch. Dinner packages start at £97 per person for three-course meals with tea/coffee. Christmas packages range from £160-£210 per person including sparkling wine, festive menu, and beverages. All dining requires the same starter, main, and dessert for all guests.

Security is mandatory at £250 for smaller events. A discretionary service charge applies to all bookings. There's a minimum beverage spend of £40 per person for private dining events. All prices are subject to 20% VAT which is added to the base rates quoted.

The Tower Suite accommodates up to 36 guests for private dining. Larger spaces can handle 100 guests in cabaret style, 180+ for standing receptions, and up to 350 for conferences in theatre layout. Wedding capacity can reach 250-350 guests depending on the specific space and setup requirements.

The Tower Suite operates 18:30-23:00 for evening events. Day events typically run 08:30-17:30 for conferences and meetings. Christmas parties and corporate events can extend until midnight or 01:00. Setup access is usually available from 16:00 for evening events, with some flexibility for earlier access.

The venue offers 'Joint First Option' holds, typically lasting 2-4 weeks (example: space held until 30 May for a May 1st event). During this period, you have priority booking rights but the space may be shown to other clients. Confirmation requires signed contracts and deposit payment within the hold period.

The venue offers modern European cuisine and can accommodate halal dietary requirements. Non-alcoholic packages are available upon request, replacing wine and champagne with alternative beverages. All catering modifications should be discussed during the planning phase to ensure proper accommodation.

Basic AV support is available for conferences and presentations, including screens, microphones, and sound systems. WiFi is included in meeting rooms. More complex technical requirements like interactive layouts, multiple screens, or specialized equipment may incur additional charges and should be specified during booking.

The venue allows decorations and entertainment, with DJ setups and dance floors available for parties. External suppliers and entertainment must be approved by the venue. Specific restrictions on decorations, music volume, or setup requirements should be confirmed during the planning phase.

Room hire is based on guaranteed minimum guest numbers (e.g., 30 for Tower Suite, 180 for standing receptions). If actual attendance falls below the agreed minimum, you'll still be charged for the minimum number of guests for both catering and room hire calculations.
