Host of our epic live music nights, The Alligator Bar features a curved bar, fireplace, piano, and DJ booth. The space is fully equipped to enjoy your favourite Louie cocktails, snacks, and canapés in the most comfortable way.

Adjoining, Louie’s very own secluded garden functions as a lush green hideaway, with a retractable roof for warm sunny days, and a dedicated smoking area.

Ground floor restaurant accommodates 85 seated/100 standing with a £14,000 minimum spend (inclusive of VAT, exclusive of 15% service charge) and £2,000 hire fee. First floor restaurant holds 88 seated/120 standing with a £15,000 minimum spend (inclusive of VAT, exclusive of 15% service charge) and £2,000 hire fee. Both spaces can be combined for larger events up to 180 seated guests.

A mandatory 15% service charge applies to all food and beverage minimum spends but is calculated separately from the minimum spend amount. For example, on a £14,000 minimum spend, you'll pay an additional £2,100 service charge (15% of £14,000). This service charge is not included in the quoted minimum spend figures.

Each dining space has a £2,000 hire fee inclusive of VAT. This covers exclusive use of the space and includes furniture removal/storage costs when needed for your event setup. The hire fee is separate from and additional to the food and beverage minimum spend.

Yes, minimum spends can vary significantly by date. December dates show higher minimums - for example, December 2nd requires £12,000 minimum spend while December 3rd increases to £14,000 for the same space. Some peak dates may not be available at all, so early booking is essential for December events.

Yes, both floors can be booked together for events up to 180 seated guests. You would pay separate minimum spends for each space (£14,000 + £15,000 = £29,000 total minimum spend) plus separate hire fees (£2,000 + £2,000 = £4,000 total hire fees), plus 15% service charge on the combined minimum spend.

Live music is integral to Louie with bands and DJs playing several nights weekly. DJ hire is available for approximately £650 for 4 hours. The venue has experience with entertainment and production requirements, and their team can help create your perfect event with various music options.

Dates are only held upon specific request - they are not automatically reserved when you inquire. Given the popularity of the venue, especially for December dates, early booking is recommended. Some December dates become unavailable quickly, so contact the venue as soon as possible to secure your preferred date.
