The Grand Temple is a stunning, Grade II listed Art Deco building. The largest of our our spaces, the Grand Temple has fixed seating for up to 928 on the ground level and a further 450 seats in the balconies. Built-in stage and audio can facilitate Conferences /Award ceremony events and product launches. For larger scale production, there are 28 ceiling rigging points for audio/visual equipment. There are multiple smaller rooms adjoining the Grand Temple available to use for refreshments, break-out areas or meetings.



Frequently asked questions

The Grand Temple costs £20,000 + VAT per day from 7am to 11pm. This includes security and cleaning for the live event, but does not include late license extensions which cost £750 per hour until 2am. Rig/de-rig days are available at 50% discount on venue hire.

The Grand Temple accommodates 900 theatre-style with catering, 280 cabaret, 600 reception, or 450 seated dinner. The space has fixed ornate seating for 1,350 people, but by installing a temporary floor over the seats, you can significantly increase both seated and standing capacities.

The Vestibules are connected to The Grand Temple and can be hired exclusively or in combination. The Vestibules work perfectly as a drinks reception area before guests enter The Grand Temple for the main event. Additional breakout rooms and storage spaces are available upon request.
