What are the exact hire rates for the Large Pension Room?

The Large Pension Room costs £1,450+VAT for weekdays (08:00-17:00) and £1,595+VAT for Sundays. A 10% charity discount is available, reducing the weekday rate to £1,305+VAT. There is usually an extra charge for use after 5pm, though this may be waived on occasion.

What AV equipment is included with the room hire?

The Large Pension Room includes a screen, lectern, and 3 microphones as standard. The Bingham Room is equipped with a projector and screen with integrated ceiling speakers, 75-inch CleverTouch TV, and 2 handheld microphones.

What are the maximum capacities for different seating layouts?

The Large Pension Room accommodates 110 maximum in theatre style, 60 for banqueting with round tables, and 50 for banqueting with long tables. The Bingham Room holds 30 in boardroom style and 60 in theatre style.

What catering packages are available and at what cost?

Package 1 costs £55+VAT per person and includes tea/coffee/pastries on arrival, mid-morning refreshments, gourmet sandwich lunch with crisps and fruit, and afternoon tea/coffee/cake. Package 2 costs £75+VAT per person and includes breakfast baps on arrival, mid-morning refreshments, fork buffet with 3 main courses/1 salad/1 dessert, and afternoon tea/coffee/cake. Both include still/sparkling water throughout.

When is full payment required for bookings?

100% payment is required six weeks before the event date. Quotes are valid for 30 days from receipt and may be subject to change after this period.

What are the viewing hours and how do I arrange a site visit?

Viewings are available Monday to Friday between 09:00-11:00 and 15:00-17:30. You need to contact the venue directly to check availability and arrange a specific viewing time.

Can I bring my own decorations and external catering?

Venue hire does not include decorations, so you'll need to arrange your own. You can bring your own cake but will need to sign a disclaimer on arrival. The venue appears to have restrictions on external catering as they offer their own catering packages.

What is included in the wedding package pricing?

The wedding package costs £225 inc VAT per person (based on 60 guests) and includes hire of The Large Pension Room, Benchers' Library and Small Pension Room from 12pm-midnight (Saturdays) or 12pm-10:30pm (Sundays), two glasses of prosecco during reception, three-course fine dining menu, half bottle of house wine per person, one glass of prosecco for toast, bottled water, staff and security, red carpet, linen, furniture, crockery, glassware, electric candles, silver candlesticks, and menu tasting for bride and groom.

Are there any booking hold policies or deadlines?

Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and availability is subject to change. The venue may release provisional bookings if they don't hear back by a specified deadline (example given was June 7th for one enquiry).
