Frequently asked questions

The venue is completely unavailable from late June through July, August, and September due to large rehearsals that occupy the entire venue. Additionally, from November 24th to December 17th, the venue is exclusively hosting KIN London's Christmas Social and cannot accommodate other bookings during this period.

Due to the building's listed status and cultural programme nature, club nights are not permitted. Sporting events are also not allowed, despite the venue's historical use as a boxing venue. The venue operates a fully curated cultural programme where all shows must be developed in consultation with their Cultural Programme team.

No agreement exists until a contract and full terms & conditions are signed by both parties and all hire fees and other charges are paid in full. Any enquiry, discussion, or correspondence should never be taken as confirmation, and the venue reserves the right to vary or cancel hires without liability even after contracts are signed.

The venue operates a tiered booking system with first, second, and third options for dates. If you're offered a second or third option, this means other events already have provisional holds, and you'll only be contacted if those bookings fall through. Dates can be held provisionally while gathering event details for a full quote.

The venue operates primarily on a dry hire basis, allowing you to source external caterers of your choice. They have featured catering suppliers who have previously worked at the venue and are recommended. An in-house bar service is available with a separate Bar Hire Guide, but there are no permanent kitchens on site.

Folding chairs and trestle tables are available on site, and you can discuss furniture requirements with the venue. External furniture and décor suppliers are welcome. It is the hirer's responsibility to set up and clear down the space unless discussed with the venue in advance, and this time will be factored into the hire period.

The venue can provide full production in-house including audio, video, and lighting equipment. They offer bespoke production quotes based on specific requirements and have a separate Production Guide available. Speakers, projectors, and monitors are available for events requiring presentation capabilities.

The venue appears to handle enquiries on an ongoing basis, but response times can vary. The Cultural Programme team is described as very small, so responses may take some time. For events requiring cultural programme consultation, early contact is recommended to allow for the development process.
