Our Humber room perfectly suits boardroom meetings for up to 22 guests, intimate dinners, for 22 guests or theatre style events for a maximum of 40 guests. The Humber room is commonly used as a breakout room, or a space to enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits, while taking a break.

Business event packages range from £73+VAT per person for day conferences (including venue hire 09:00-17:00, refreshments, lunch, and AV equipment) to £219+VAT per person for full dinner events. Dry hire options start at £12,000+VAT for 12-hour exclusive venue access. All pricing is based on exclusive venue hire regardless of group size.

The Great Hall accommodates up to 350 guests for seated dinner or 300 guests in cabaret style with screens. Theatre-style seating supports up to 400 delegates for conferences. The venue can accommodate up to 550 guests for standing receptions throughout the building.

Standard packages include stage, microphones, PA system, atmospheric lighting, and basic projection capabilities. Advanced AV packages with large screens, projectors, repeater screens, and dedicated tech assistants (up to 10 hours) are available for additional cost. External AV suppliers can be brought in with venue approval.

Standard business events typically run from 08:00-19:30 or 09:00-17:00 for day conferences. Evening events can extend until midnight or 01:00. Early setup access from 06:00-07:00 is available for conferences requiring AV testing, with 3-hour evening-before access possible for complex setups.

Full catering packages include arrival refreshments, mid-morning/afternoon breaks, working lunches, and drinks receptions. Day delegate rates (DDR) start at £78+VAT per person including all refreshments and basic AV. External caterers can use kitchen facilities under dry hire arrangements with additional coordination required.

Security and cloakroom staff are included in most packages. Minimum bar spends of £2,000+VAT may apply for events with alcohol service. Chiavari chair upgrades, additional AV equipment, and extended hours beyond standard packages incur extra charges at £500-600 per hour.

Exclusive hire includes access to the Great Hall (main event space), Livery Hall (reception/catering area), and Humber Room (up to 40 guests theatre-style, 22 boardroom-style). The Humber Room works well as a breakout space or private meeting room during larger corporate events.

The venue requires confirmation of specific event details including exact timings, guest numbers, and catering requirements before providing final quotations. Payment terms and deposit requirements vary by event size and date. Availability is confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis with some dates showing limited availability.

The venue maintains a preferred supplier list for catering and AV services but allows external suppliers with prior approval. All rubbish must be removed by the client and their team for dry hire events. The venue is fully accessible and can accommodate branding opportunities including signage and digital displays.

If Plaisterers' Hall is unavailable, the venue team actively offers alternative dates or recommends sister venues including Brewers Hall and Coopers Hall (both within 2-minute walk). These smaller venues may be more suitable and cost-effective for events under 100 guests.
