Weekend bookings require a minimum spend of £15,000 to open the venue, as 116 Pall Mall only operates during weekdays normally. This minimum spend covers all costs including venue hire, catering, and beverages.

Standard venue hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays. Early access before 8:00am or late access after 5:00pm incurs additional charges of £1,250 + VAT per hour.

A 50% deposit is required within 14 days of signing the contract. Payment can be made by BACs transfer, over the phone, or via payment link (AMEX not accepted via payment link). AMEX payments via PDQ machine incur an additional 5% charge of the invoice value.

Contracts must be signed promptly to secure dates, as spaces remain available to other clients until contracted. The venue typically requires contract signature within days of the proposal being accepted, with specific deadlines communicated for each booking.

The Carlton room accommodates 120 banquet with reception space or 180 banquet only, and 300 standing. Additional connected spaces include the Terrace (100 standing) and smaller rooms like St James 2 (50 standing/40 banquet/32 cabaret/50 theatre).

External catering is strictly forbidden - all food must be provided by Searcys. A choice of one dish from each course is required for the whole party (set menu), with dietary requirements catered separately. Clients must provide table plans and name places on the event day.

Basic AV equipment varies by room, but additional requirements like screens, projectors, microphones, and staging can be arranged through the venue's AV partners. Technical specifications and pricing are provided separately based on specific event needs.

The venue can place provisional holds on dates, but these can be challenged by other clients. When challenged, the original client typically has 48 hours to make a decision or the date may be released to the competing inquiry.

Security and cloakroom services are typically included in dinner packages but may be charged separately for other event types. The venue is fully accessible with accessible toilets, lift access, and ramp access.

Cancellation terms and conditions apply immediately after contract signature. Specific cancellation policies and any associated fees are outlined in the standard terms and conditions provided with each contract.
