Being located on the famous Fleet Street, Carmen's Hall is definitely a venue that will impress your guests. The Worshipful Company of Carmen works in partnership with Portfolio, a classy, well known catering company in Central London. We like to make your experience with us smooth as possible, with the aim that you can get the full, relaxed dining experience on the day/ night of your event.

Frequently asked questions

The daily hire cost is £650 excluding VAT for full day usage of the main dining room. This includes unlimited tea, coffee and water throughout the day, and the venue can be opened at whatever time you need.

The main dining room can accommodate 36 people seated or 60 people standing. There is also a smaller intimate room available that seats 15 or accommodates 25 standing.

Lunch can be organized for £10 per person as an additional cost. The venue works in partnership with Portfolio, a catering company in Central London, and can provide everything from sandwich lunches with drinks to full sit-down meals and dinner service.

Both the main dining room and smaller room have top of the range IT equipment available. The venue can accommodate presentations and has screens available for corporate meetings and events.

There is no onsite parking, but you can unload directly outside the building on the road, especially easy on weekends when it's quiet. There is plenty of parking available around the building in the surrounding area.

The main dining room is located on the first floor. There is lift access from the ground floor, which is particularly useful for transporting heavy equipment or catering supplies.

The dining room can be set up however you like - with tables, without tables, or you can bring your own furniture. The hall is entirely yours during your booking, so any setup arrangement is possible.

Same-day bookings are not available due to short notice requirements. The venue requires advance booking, and availability varies depending on existing commitments and other events scheduled.

Both dining rooms are very light spaces with windows surrounding the rooms, making them ideal for all-day meetings. The rooms have air conditioning and can be configured for various meeting styles including boardroom, cabaret, classroom, or theatre-style seating.

The venue can work with their catering partner Portfolio to accommodate special dietary requirements. For kosher meals, they can guarantee food is prepared according to kosher requirements when arranged in advance.
