Room hire pricing varies by event type and duration, with rates typically ranging from £1,650-£2,565 for half-day bookings. Some packages require minimum numbers (e.g., 80 guests for certain catering packages). VAT exemption applies to room hire only, while catering and additional services are subject to 20% VAT.

What AV equipment is included and what additional support is available?

Standard AV equipment installed in the Member's Room is included in the hire fee, including screens and basic presentation setup. An AV technician can be provided for £500 + VAT, with video conferencing and live streaming packages available at no additional cost when booking technical support.

What are the available time slots and access arrangements?

The venue offers flexible timing options including morning sessions (from 12:00pm), afternoon sessions, and evening events (6:00pm-10:00pm typical). Host access is typically provided 1 hour before guest arrival for setup. Some time slots may have limited availability requiring 2nd option bookings.

What catering packages are available for business events?

Catering options include arrival tea/coffee with pastries (£6.90 + VAT per person), finger buffet lunches (£32.50-£54.00 + VAT per person), and drinks reception packages (£22.50-£27.00 + VAT per person). Day delegate packages are available from £100-£112 + VAT per person with minimum numbers of 65-80 guests.

What insurance and booking requirements must be met?

Public liability insurance is mandatory as a condition for hosting events. You must provide proof of coverage before the event. Booking contracts are issued via DocuSign and require full company details, billing address, and contract signatory information.

Are there budget limitations that would prevent booking?

The venue has minimum budget thresholds and will decline bookings that don't meet their pricing requirements. For example, events with budgets of £60 per person or lower may not be accommodated, as indicated when they declined a booking with this budget constraint.

What additional spaces can be combined with the Business space?

The Member's Room can be combined with the adjacent Business Centre Lounge for pre and post-event drinks and networking. This combination works well for panel events, presentations followed by reception, or meetings requiring breakout space.

How far in advance should bookings be made and what is the hold policy?

The venue offers provisional holds on dates while you make decisions. Popular dates may only be available on 2nd option, meaning another client has first priority. It's advisable to book well in advance, especially for preferred dates and times.

What happens if my preferred date is unavailable?

If your preferred date is unavailable, the venue will ask about date flexibility and suggest alternative options. For larger events requiring specific spaces, they may recommend alternative venues if they cannot accommodate your requirements.
