Frequently asked questions

Penelope's Private Meeting Room accommodates a maximum of 16 guests in boardroom style only. The room includes a 55" screen, AV equipment, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, flipchart, and stationery items (notepads and pens).

The meeting room costs £150 per hour or £800 for a full day (8am-5pm), with VAT included. The venue is available from 8am to 5pm, and organizers can be granted earlier access for setup.

Food and beverages are charged separately and are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of a 15% service charge. A continental buffet can be displayed in the main breakfast room just outside the meeting room.

The largest conference room can accommodate up to 70 guests in theatre style. This would be suitable for larger business presentations or conferences requiring audience seating.

Site visits and tours are available Monday to Friday from 11am to 5pm. You should ask for the events team at reception upon arrival.

All quotes are only valid for 5 working days and are subject to availability. Dates are only held upon specific request, and fees may change based on modifications to dates, guest numbers, or timing.

For private dining events outside normal operation hours (earliest at 1pm), the minimum spend starts at £6,000 plus 15% service charge. The kitchen normally opens from 5pm, so earlier events incur additional costs.

Meeting rooms include 55" screens, AV equipment, microphones for speeches (free of charge), projectors, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. The venue can accommodate presentations and has sound systems suitable for business events.

Yes, there is a 10% commission on the final net amount plus VAT, excluding service charge. This commission does not apply to cancellations, entertainment, decoration, or any external hire costs.

Loose furniture can be removed to accommodate different layouts, including creating space for activities like dance floors. The venue offers flexibility in room configuration and can discuss potential layout options during site visits.
