The Court Room is a unique space with the opportunity to create three rooms in one. This flexible room can be hired individually or when combining with the Livery Room and Wardens’ Room offers a Hall-length space suitable for larger networking events.

Frequently asked questions

Venue hire ranges from £2,000-£3,000 ex VAT depending on timing and duration. The Great Hall hire includes exclusive use of the space with five chandeliers, period mouldings, and stained-glass windows. All prices exclude VAT at 20%.

The Great Hall accommodates up to 150 guests for conferences in theatre-style seating. For seated dining events, capacity is typically 70-120 guests depending on table configuration. The space can be configured for cabaret-style, theatre-style, or standing reception formats.

Hall staff meals are mandatory for all events - up to 5 staff members require feeding at £35 ex VAT per person for junior outmess or £48 ex VAT per person for senior outmess. This cost is in addition to your quoted event pricing and cannot be waived.

External caterers are not permitted - Saddlers Hall uses exclusive caterer Searcys for all events. All food and beverage must be provided through their in-house catering services, with no exceptions for outside suppliers.

AV equipment is not kept on-site and must be outsourced to their recommended supplier. Basic packages start around £400-£480 ex VAT and can include projectors, screens, microphones, and sound systems depending on requirements.

Provisional holds can be placed for 1 week maximum. To confirm your booking, you need a signed agreement and completed hall application. All quotes are valid for 2 weeks from issue date.

Day delegate rates are approximately £95-£102 ex VAT per person. This typically includes venue hire, tea/coffee breaks, pastries, lunch (sandwiches, crisps, fruit), and basic refreshments throughout the day.

Events typically run from 5:30pm-11pm for evening functions, though daytime events from 9am-5pm are also accommodated. The venue appears to operate seven days a week, though availability varies significantly by date and advance booking is essential.

The Front Rooms can be used for pre-dinner drinks receptions and post-dinner activities. There's also a Courtyard available for outdoor summer events and receptions, perfect for BBQ packages and standing networking events.

Standard terms and conditions apply to all bookings. Quotes are valid for 2 weeks, and substitutions or adjustments may be required due to unforeseen circumstances, which will be communicated at the earliest opportunity.
