Frequently asked questions

Room hire rates vary by event type and duration, with examples including £2,565 for evening events (reduced from £2,850), £2,950 for evening conferences, and £9,000 for full-day conferences (reduced from £10,000). The Day Delegate Rate (DDR) is £100 per person plus VAT with a minimum of 80 guests, or £112 per person plus VAT with a minimum of 65 guests.

The Auditorium accommodates up to 200 guests in theatre style seating or can be configured with 5 tables of 10 guests for cabaret style. The space features tiered seating with fixed microphones per seat and pull-out desks. The adjacent Atrium provides additional space for catering and networking.

Standard AV package includes 2 x 84-inch plasma screens, lectern and microphone, 2 x branding screens, LCD projector and screen, push-to-talk microphones at each seat, fixed panel for up to 5 with microphones, relay screens, PA system, plus live streaming and video conferencing capabilities. An AV technician is mandatory at £500 plus VAT, with video conferencing and live streaming package included at no extra charge.

Events typically run from 8:30am-5pm for day conferences or 6pm-11pm for evening events. Host access is usually provided 1 hour before guest arrival (e.g., 17:00 for 18:00 guest arrival). Setup access can be arranged the evening before for 4 hours if required for rehearsals or complex setups.

Day Delegate Rate includes arrival refreshments, mid-morning snacks, finger buffet lunch, and afternoon tea/coffee. Evening packages include 1-2 hour drinks receptions (£22.50-£27 per person) with canapes (6 per person). Most catering packages require minimum numbers of 65-80 guests, and drinks can also be charged on consumption basis.

The Auditorium hire includes exclusive use of the adjacent Atrium for registration and catering, two small meeting rooms (Room 2.1 and Room 2.2), private bathrooms, cloakroom facilities, and all spaces are fully accessible. This provides a complete conference facility with breakout and networking areas.

To proceed with booking, you must provide full company name, billing address, contract signatory details with email address, and proof of public liability insurance. Contracts are issued via DocuSign, invoices are sent once contracts are signed, and you'll be introduced to the operations team for final event details.

The venue has indicated they cannot accommodate events with budgets of £60 per person or below. For reference, their DDR packages start at £100-£112 per person plus VAT, and they have declined proposals where client budgets were deemed insufficient for their service levels.

Dates are offered on either 1st option (priority hold) or 2nd option (secondary hold). The venue can provisionally hold dates while clients review proposals. Availability varies significantly by date, with some popular dates showing limited availability for larger spaces.

The Auditorium can accommodate various formats including theatre style presentations, cabaret style with round tables, conference settings with fixed seating and microphones, and can be combined with the Atrium for standing receptions. The space is suitable for conferences, AGMs, presentations, seminars, and evening events with networking components.
