Guide prices
Indicative pricing based on standard rates. Request an instant quote for your exact brief.
What are the exact hire costs for Screen 1 and how do weekend rates differ?
Screen 1 (119 seats) costs £1,284 + VAT per slot Monday-Tuesday, and £1,835 + VAT per slot Wednesday-Sunday. Weekend evening slots are 6pm-9pm or 8:30pm-11:30pm - if you need both slots, the price doubles to £3,670 + VAT total.
What technical equipment is included and what are the content delivery requirements?
The hire includes screen, 2K projector, up to 3 handheld microphones, and technical support. Content must be delivered in DCP format 72 hours before your technical rehearsal, or you'll pay £500 + VAT for format conversion. Late delivery or missed rehearsals incur additional fees.
What is included in the mandatory technical rehearsal and when does it happen?
A 30-minute to 1-hour technical rehearsal is included and takes place at 10:30am-11:30am prior to your event day. The duration depends on your event's complexity, and this rehearsal is mandatory for all bookings.
How many microphones are available and can they be moved between screens?
There are only 4 wireless microphones total across the entire venue. Screen 1 can have maximum 2 microphones, and they cannot be easily moved between screens during events, so you cannot have 3 microphones in one screen.
What are the bar hire costs and capacity limits for receptions?
Exclusive bar hire costs £300 + VAT per hour for up to 125 people standing. This covers the space only - no food or drinks are included, and there are no minimum spend requirements or service charges.
How does the drinks service work and what should I budget per person?
Standard service is a maximum tab limit with self-service house wine, prosecco, beers and soft drinks that staff replenish. Budget £6 per person per drink for this selection. Specialty drinks like cocktails, G&Ts and hard seltzers require pre-ordering.
What food options are available and what is the ordering deadline?
In-house options include tea/coffee receptions, breakfast items, pizzas and light bites. For anything else, you must use approved external caterers. All food orders must be placed 2 weeks before your event - orders after this deadline cannot be guaranteed.
Can I connect laptops for presentations and what connection types are supported?
Yes, laptops can be connected to the screen for presentations. Both PC and Apple laptops work if they have HDMI adaptors, though it's recommended to consolidate all content onto one laptop to avoid transition issues during your event.
What are the typical event time slots and access arrangements?
Evening slots run 6pm-9pm or 8:30pm-11:30pm on weekends. Organizers typically arrive 1 hour before guests, and events can run until approximately 11:45pm with 5-10 minutes needed for room clearing after screenings finish.
What branding opportunities are available for events?
A branding package is available that includes use of the canopy or readograph, plus takeover of all quad posters and digital screens throughout the venue. This allows comprehensive venue branding for your screening event.
