A verdant setting for a summer party, The Inner Temple Garden has received many Floral Awards from The Worshipful Company of Gardeners between 1991 - 2004. The three-acre garden is laid to lawn and boasts a variety of distinctive plants and trees. Guests can enter through 18th century wrought iron gates where they will enjoy exclusive use of this peaceful oasis in the heart of the City of London.




Frequently asked questions

Wedding dry hire (use of all internal event spaces with your own caterers) costs £15,000 ex VAT. The Hall dinner package is £142 ex VAT per person for 90 guests, including hire from 6pm-11pm with 10% discount, prosecco on arrival, half bottle of house wine, 3-course menu with coffee, and PA system with microphone. All prices exclude VAT at 20%.

The Hall can accommodate up to 276 guests for dining and is available Monday-Friday from 6pm onwards, plus weekends during day and evening. The Marquee (available mid-June to mid-July) holds up to 600 guests. Christmas events can accommodate from small intimate dinners to receptions for up to 400 guests.

The Marquee is only available for four weeks from 16 June to 9 July 2026, making it extremely limited. It's located in the three-acre garden and can accommodate up to 600 guests. The Marquee package for 400 guests costs £152.40 ex VAT per person, including hire of marquee and garden, garden menu, prosecco reception, unlimited drinks package, and AV equipment.

Dates are held on provisional basis initially and require confirmation to secure. For events close to the date, confirmation is needed quickly - for example, events in May require confirmation by end of April. The venue offers a 2026 room hire price freeze (at current rates) but this offer ends 31 August 2025 with terms and conditions applying.

Sample catering costs include arrival tea/coffee/pastries from £8.50 ex VAT per person, classic sandwich lunch from £19.30 ex VAT per person, house wine from £5 ex VAT per person, and afternoon tea/coffee/biscuits from £7.15 ex VAT per person. Christmas lunch events start from £85 ex VAT per person. All catering appears to be provided in-house.

The venue is closed during August summer holidays and reopens from 8 September for events. The Hall is available Monday-Friday from 6pm onwards and weekends during day and evening. Some dates have limited availability due to existing bookings, and popular dates for the Marquee season book up quickly.

Built-in AV includes screens and video conferencing facilities in meeting rooms. The Hall dinner package includes PA system with 1 microphone. Additional AV equipment like multiple microphones and DJ services can be arranged. Rooms feature contemporary design with natural daylight and built-in technical capabilities.
