An impressive room by any standards. Spacious with plenty of natural daylight and full of impressive, iconic period features of oak panelling and magnificent stained-glass windows, detailing a history of insurance companies from the past. The Great Hall offers an excellent space for corporate dinners and lunches. It is fully equipped with an automated blackout system, lobby reception area, adjustable lighting, 13ft front projection screen and features a fixed stage and minstrel gallery.

The Great Hall can accommodate a maximum of 80 people for a sit-down 3-course meal. This is a firm capacity limit that cannot be exceeded for formal dining arrangements.

No, external caterers are not permitted at The Insurance Hall. All catering must be provided through the venue's approved catering partners, and hot food service requires a minimum of 40 people.

Based on recent quotes, dining packages range from £75-£93 per person excluding VAT. A Day Delegate Rate including breakfast, lunch, and refreshments costs £75 per person, while evening dining with canapés and bowl food ranges around £93 per person.

The venue offers various dining formats including 3-course sit-down meals, Day Delegate Rate packages with sandwiches and refreshments, bowl food buffets (3 bowls per person), and canapés (4-6 pieces per person). Hot food service requires a minimum of 40 guests.

Unlimited red and white wine, bottled beers, and soft drinks packages are available at £27 per person excluding VAT (£32.40 including VAT). The venue can also arrange bar tabs rather than fixed drinks packages depending on your preference.

The Great Hall includes an LCD projector, 4.0m x 2.2m projection screen, PA system with lectern microphone and two handheld microphones. The venue features a fixed stage, automated blackout system, and adjustable lighting for presentations during dining events.

Exclusive evening hire of The Insurance Hall costs £2,500-£2,820 excluding VAT (£3,000-£3,384 including VAT). Day hire rates may vary, and the venue offers room hire from 9am-5:30pm as part of Day Delegate Rate packages.

The venue does not accept bookings for the first few months of the new financial year due to planned renovations. Currently, quotes are only provided for events until the end of March 2026, with specific dates subject to availability.

The Great Hall features a fixed stage measuring 13.4m x 1.4m with a minstrel gallery. The venue includes heritage oak panelling and stained-glass windows, plus state-of-the-art technical equipment including automated blackout systems and professional lighting.
