The Inner Temple Hall, a stunning Georgian-style venue in the City, is ideal for Christmas parties, corporate events, dry hire events and summer parties. With elegance and versatility, it hosts award ceremonies, receptions and special occasions. Seating up to 240 or 400 for a reception, it also serves as a conference venue, accommodating evening and weekend lectures for up to 270 guests. The historic setting and flexible event spaces make it perfect for both formal and celebratory gatherings.




Frequently asked questions

The Hall costs £1,960 ex VAT for 8am-4pm hire and seats up to 276 for dining (increased from 240). Rooms 3&4 combined cost £1,960 ex VAT for 8am-4pm and accommodate 62 theatre style or 35 guests. The Parliament Chamber costs £2,094 ex VAT for Christmas events. The Lecture Theatre and Reception Area cost £4,296 ex VAT for 9am-4pm or 6pm-10pm hire with 120 theatre capacity.

Catering prices include arrival tea/coffee/pastries from £8.50 ex VAT per person, classic sandwich lunch from £19.30 ex VAT per person, and house wine from £5 ex VAT per person. The Hall dinner package costs £142 ex VAT per person including prosecco, wine, 3-course menu and PA system. Some spaces have minimum catering spends of £2,640 ex VAT.

The Hall is available Monday-Friday from 6pm onwards and weekends during day and evening. The venue closes for August summer holidays and reopens from 8th September for events. Filming is usually weekends only but exceptions can be made depending on requirements.

Wedding dry hire costs £15,000 ex VAT and includes use of all internal event spaces with your own caterers. The venue offers wedding packages with different options detailed in their wedding brochure, and the Hall can accommodate up to 276 guests for wedding dining.

Basic AV includes screen and video conferencing facilities in Rooms 3&4, and PA system with 1 microphone in the Hall dinner package and Lecture Theatre. The venue has built-in AV capabilities but specific additional equipment costs are not detailed in standard quotes.

The venue operates on first and second option holds - they will contact the first option client for updates before placing your event on second option hold. No dates are provisionally held until specifically requested. For events close to the date, confirmation may be required within specific timeframes (e.g., before 30th April for May events).

The marquee accommodates up to 600 guests and is only available for 4 weeks annually from mid-June to mid-July (2026 season runs 16 June - 9 July). The marquee package for 400 guests costs £152.40 ex VAT per person including hire, garden menu, prosecco reception, drinks package and AV equipment.

Room hire prices are frozen for 2026 events if booked at current rates, with the offer ending 31st August 2025. Christmas events can accommodate from small intimate dinners to receptions for up to 400 guests, with Christmas lunch starting from £85 ex VAT per person.
