The hire fee for Knight Gallery is £1,050 + VAT for 08:00-17:00. This includes an Event Manager, Duty Manager, Technician for in-house equipment, and basic staffing for fire marshalling. Additional fees apply for extra staffing, technical requirements, and catering beyond what's included.

What are the capacity limits for different event setups in Knight Gallery?

Knight Gallery can accommodate 108 guests for dinner or 130 guests in theatre-style seating. The space can be combined with the Beanfeast room for larger events requiring more than one room.

What are the vehicle access restrictions for deliveries and setup?

Vehicle access is only allowed on site between 8am-11pm. If you need additional time for setup or breakdown the day before or after your event, you must arrange this in advance with the venue.

What catering options are available and what are the associated fees?

Woolwich Works works with five handpicked caterers: Clement Worrall, KERB, Palette, Social Pantry, and The Clink Events. You can use your own caterer, but there's a £500 + VAT admin fee to set them up on the system, plus a 10% charge on their final invoice.

What audio-visual equipment is included and what additional options are available?

A PA system and 2 microphones are included in the hire fee. Additional technical resources beyond this basic setup incur extra charges, and for requirements beyond in-house capabilities, they recommend their external AV team White Light.

Is furniture included in the hire fee and what's available?

Knight Gallery is fully licensed for weddings and civil partnerships, features original exposed brick walls with sash windows overlooking the courtyard, and has a private entrance from the riverside for guests arriving by boat. The space offers natural light and can combine indoor/outdoor elements.

What are the booking lead times and availability restrictions?

The venue requires adequate lead time for events, particularly for larger capacities. Based on correspondence, they may not accommodate events with short lead times or may have limited availability on certain dates, especially for November bookings.

Are there any fees for using external suppliers beyond catering?

Yes, there's a £500 + VAT admin fee for setting up your own AV supplier on their system, plus a 10% charge on the final invoice. The same fee structure applies to external caterers (£500 + VAT setup fee plus 10% commission).

What security and additional staffing options are available?

Security/hosts are available at £35 per hour for 2 staff with a minimum 5-hour call per staff member (10 hours minimum total). Additional technicians beyond the included support are available at £310 + VAT per day.
