Space description
The Library is a graded part of the Royal College of Surgeons, dating back to 1800. This historical space on the first floor features the Library and Erasmus Wilson Room. The Lumley Library, as well as an evening event space is also a fully functioning library. By the close of the 19th century, it was widely recognised as one of the finest medical science library collections in Europe.
Able to accommodate up to 90 guests for dinner and 150 guests in a standing reception, this enchanting space offers a beautiful backdrop for private dinners, evening receptions and weddings.

The View is at the heart of The Royal College of Surgeons of England. Founded by the Royal Charter in 1800 it is the professional home of surgery in England and internationally.
The View is also open to the general public for conferences, meetings and events. It boasts spectacular views of London and had a terrace guests can enjoy in the summer evenings. It is the perfect spot to host a large conference or beautiful wedding, nestled in a building steeped in history and bringing together modern facilities with a long legacy of research and scientific discover in the heart of London.

This tunnel is weird 70s office space, complete with corrugated walls and, most important, a large mezzanine level. This mezzanine has two sets of stairs, one at either end, and can be seen through if no flooring is put down. This means without flooring it is great for interactive performances where the audience can see through from one space to another, and with flooring can make an excellent breakout space or VIP area.

The Gennaro Room is the ideal space for a party. It has a bar, wooden floors, a 2.4m wide retractable screen and a PA system. It can hold up to 40 people for a meal or 100 for a party. It's ideal for birthdays, wrap parties, product launches private & business dinners, award ceremonies, cocktail parties, theme parties, after parties.
