The Library Rooms (up to 18 guests) cost £130 per hour with a 3-hour minimum plus £1,000 minimum spend on food and drinks. The Lower Ground Round Room (up to 14 guests) costs £90 per hour with a 3-hour minimum plus £1,000 minimum spend on food and drinks. All prices include VAT, and a 13.5% service charge applies to your final food and beverage bill.

The Library Rooms accommodate up to 18 guests maximum, while the Lower Ground Round Room accommodates up to 14 guests maximum. Both spaces are designed for intimate private dining experiences with fixed capacity limits that cannot be exceeded.

You must submit your pre-order for both food and beverage choices exactly one week prior to your booking date. This is a mandatory requirement for all private dining events at 12 Hay Hill.

The hourly room hire fee includes the private dining space, dedicated temperature control, background music capability, and a dedicated team member to assist with your event. The 13.5% service charge covers the dedicated staff service throughout your event.

All dining spaces require a minimum 3-hour booking period. Additionally, you must meet a £1,000 minimum spend on food and drinks regardless of which dining room you choose or how many guests attend.

12 Hay Hill is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, so weekend bookings are not available. All private dining events must be scheduled Monday through Friday only.

After confirming your booking details, you'll receive a contract of agreement along with an invoice. The venue typically places bookings on hold for one week while you decide, and you'll need to provide your direct email address as enquiries through platforms like HireSpace use generic addresses.

The Library Rooms feature floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, golden chandeliers, and striking art with individual temperature control. The Lower Ground Round Room offers an intimate setting with velvet seating and a grand central chandelier, creating an elegant atmosphere for private dining.

Thursday availability appears limited, particularly for end of November and December dates. The venue specifically noted they do not have availability on any Thursdays during these peak periods, so alternative weekdays may be necessary.

Site visits can be arranged during weekday afternoons, typically between 3:00-5:30pm. You should ask for Amanda Shelton at reception upon arrival, and visits can usually be scheduled within a few days of your request depending on availability.
