Frequently asked questions

The venue operates on a minimum spend model rather than room hire fees for most bookings. Based on available pricing examples, minimum spends typically range from £3,000-£10,000 depending on the space and event type, with a mandatory 15% service charge added to all food and beverage purchases. All prices include VAT, and the venue opens at 8:30am for events.

The Green Room (a main dining space) accommodates up to 90 seated guests for rounds, 100 theatre style, or 60 cabaret style. The Wardour meeting room seats 22 guests maximum. For standing receptions, spaces can accommodate more guests - the Green Room holds up to 150 standing.

The venue offers multiple dining formats including working lunch menus, reduced a la carte menus, and set menus for events. For working lunches in meeting rooms, pre-orders must be submitted by the Wednesday before your event date. Fresh pastries are available for £4.50 each for breakfast meetings.

Outside food and drink are strictly prohibited from being brought into any meeting rooms or dining spaces. All catering must be provided by the venue's internal team, with a 15% service charge applied to all food and beverage orders.

Basic AV varies by room - the Wardour includes a 60" plasma smart TV screen, PA system, and Wi-Fi as standard. Flipchart and pens can be added for £18. More extensive AV including screens, projectors, microphones, and staging is available to hire as additional production services.

The venue opens at 8:30am for events. As a private members club, early access before standard hours may incur additional fees - one quote showed a £2,500 early access fee for starting before 4pm. Events can run until midnight with last orders typically at 11:30pm.

Once you confirm your booking requirements, the venue sends a payment link to secure the room. Food and beverage items are charged on the day of the event and will incur the mandatory 15% service charge. The venue requires confirmation of final numbers and menu selections in advance.

Dining bookings include complimentary self-service filter tea, coffee, and still/sparkling mineral water (typically 4 bottles of each). Some spaces offer access to private terraces, wine fridges, and natural daylight. The venue can accommodate all dietary requirements including exclusive vegan menus.

The venue appears to have standard availability throughout the week, though specific dates may be fully booked during peak periods like December. Menus are subject to seasonal changes and availability, with items potentially substituted or removed due to supplier availability.

The venue has minimum spend requirements that vary by space and event type. If your budget is below their minimums, they will decline the booking as stated in correspondence: "Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate your request at this time, as the budget is too low."
