If you're looking for a perfect blank canvas to bring your vision to life, Venue 1 is your tabula rasa. With the right decoration and lighting, the room can transform from a standard theatre into a dining haven. From birthday celebrations, reunions to corporate Christmas parties, Venue 1 is a fantastic space for hosting your next dining event. There's more than enough room to enjoy a meal, have some drinks and dance the night away. The venue has a private entrance, licenced bar, elevated stage and state of the art audio-visual equipment.



Frequently asked questions

The Day Delegate Package costs £64.00 per person (£71.50 including VAT) with a minimum of 80 delegates. It includes dedicated pre-event and on-site coordinator, room hire, full day beverage service (three servings of coffee, tea, water and biscuits), working lunch with sandwiches, 3 hot items, fruit and sweet treat, afternoon snack selection, LCD/projector, screen, flipchart & pens, free Wi-Fi, and delegate stationery.

Venue 1 can accommodate a maximum of 150 people in cabaret layout or 328 people in theatre setup. For dining events, the space is flexible enough to accommodate various seating arrangements with room for dining, drinks, and dancing.

Basic LCD/projector and screen are included in the Day Delegate Package. A PA system with 1 handheld microphone costs £180 including VAT, additional microphones are £72 including VAT each. If you need more than 3 microphones, a dedicated sound engineer is required starting at £540 including VAT.

Venue 2 can be used as catering space free of charge when booking Venue 1, but it's only available until 4pm as there may be another event starting at 4pm. For extended use, Nash and Portland rooms can be provided at £500 VAT exempt for catering purposes.

Payment is processed via PayPal link sent to your designated email address. The venue can provisionally hold dates for 10 working days while you confirm your booking, and they follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure payment is processed.

Individual catering items include working lunch at £19.80 per person including VAT, tea and coffee servings at £8.40 per person including VAT, and post-event Prosecco and canapés package at £52.00 per person including VAT (includes PA system for background music, 6 canapés per person, 2 glasses of Prosecco, orange juice, and still/sparkling water).

Venue 1 has a dedicated entrance and registration area, its own licensed bar (open on request), elevated stage with built-in AV equipment, central lighting rig, interchangeable black and white side panels for atmosphere customization, and air conditioning. The space is described as a perfect blank canvas that can transform from standard theatre to dining haven.

Yes, last-minute changes are accommodated - guest numbers can be increased even on very short notice. The venue will update your function sheet and send a revised invoice, and they're described as happy to assist with changes throughout the planning process.

Some dates may not be available due to existing bookings, and Venue 2 (if used for additional catering) is only available until 4pm when there's another event starting at 4pm. The venue can accommodate various timing requirements including arrival refreshments, multiple break times, and extended events.

A dedicated on-site coordinator is included in the Day Delegate Package, and there's an on-site team member (like James) who handles day-of setup and coordination. The venue receives positive feedback for their team's efforts in setting up events and managing the day-of logistics.
