National Gallery & Somerset House at The Londoner

The Gallery rooms operate on a minimum food and beverage spend model. For smaller meetings (10-12 people), Somerset House and National Gallery rooms require £200 minimum F&B spend plus £1,800 venue hire, totaling £2,000 including VAT. This rate excludes the discretionary 12.5% service charge, and any shortfall in minimum spend is charged as additional room hire.

Each Gallery room includes wall-mounted 98" 4K LED screens, Apple TV 4K and Barco ClickShare for wireless presenting, AMX 10-inch touch panel for full AV system control, Bluetooth connectivity for personal devices, and electronic signage screens outside each room for event branding. All basic AV equipment is included at no additional charge.

The Gallery consists of seven adjoining meeting rooms that can be configured individually or combined. Individual rooms accommodate 10-12 people comfortably, while larger configurations can handle significantly more guests depending on the specific rooms combined and setup style required.

Security is mandatory for all events at The Londoner at £35 per hour per guard, with a minimum 6-hour booking required. One security guard is required per 100 attendees, and additional security is also mandatory during full setup and de-rig periods regardless of guest count.

Standard meeting packages typically run from 8:00am to 5:30pm including setup and de-rig time. Setup usually begins from 7:00am, with meetings from 11:00am to 5:00pm, followed by de-rig until 5:30pm. Extensions beyond these hours may require pricing review.

Meeting packages include arrival experience, afternoon experience, Londoner Gallery Farmers Market experience, tea and coffee during lunch, bottled still or sparkling water per person, and dedicated events manager. Pricing starts at £130 per person based on minimum 30 guests, with rates inclusive of VAT but exclusive of 12.5% discretionary service charge.

External AV providers can be used but incur an External AV Provider Fee starting from £3,000. Additional AV technician support is available from £3,500 if you need professional operation of the venue's built-in equipment or external systems.

All Gallery bookings include Wi-Fi access on unlimited devices, private cloakroom facilities, dedicated events manager, and private event entrance. The spaces connect to a spacious lounge area and can be tailored for various meeting setups and configurations.

The venue offers joint first option holds, typically until a specified date (such as Friday of the following week). Specific holding periods vary by availability and demand, so early booking is recommended for preferred dates.

Most packages have minimum guest requirements (such as 30 people for the £130 per person package). Any shortfall in minimum numbers will be charged as additional room hire to meet the minimum spend commitment.
