Logistically engineered, purposefully built to host unique events, The Ballroom at The Londoner is adjoined by specially designed pre-function areas and two kitchens, providing a seamless experience accompanied by exquisite dining.

Frequently asked questions

The Ballroom dinner package costs £180 per person (minimum 250 guests) with an additional £8,000 room hire for smaller groups, exclusive of 12.5% service charge. 8 at The Londoner rooftop space requires £3,000 room hire plus £16,000 minimum food and beverage spend (inclusive of VAT, exclusive of 15% service charge). The Green Room costs £130 per person with a 30-guest minimum, inclusive of VAT but exclusive of 12.5% service charge.

Security is mandatory for all events at The Londoner at £35 per hour per guard with a minimum 6-hour booking. One security guard is required per 100 guests, plus one additional guard for the full setup and de-rig periods. For a 150-guest event, expect minimum security costs of £420 (2 guards × 6 hours × £35).

The Ballroom includes state-of-the-art Christie projectors with four large ceiling screens, eight motorised trusses with 50+ moving lights, line array sound system with wireless microphones (4 lapel, 2 handheld), stage with lectern microphone, and AMX touch panel control. Basic AV facilities are complimentary when hiring AV technicians, with technician costs starting from £4,200 to operate the included equipment.

The Ballroom accommodates up to 850 standing reception, 600 seated dinner, or 464 cabaret style. 8 at The Londoner rooftop has a maximum standing capacity of 150 people. The Green Room and Gallery spaces accommodate smaller groups with specific minimums (30 guests for Green Room packages).

Events typically run with setup from 18:00-19:00, guest arrival from 19:30, and de-rig from 01:00-02:00. The Green Room allows setup from 7:00-11:00am for daytime events running 11:00am-5:00pm. Extended timings beyond standard hours may require pricing review and additional charges.

The Ballroom dinner package includes champagne on arrival, 3 canapés per person, three-course seasonal menu, tea/coffee with petit fours, half bottle house wine per person, and half bottle water per person. All packages are exclusive of service charges: 12.5% for most spaces, 15% for 8 at The Londoner rooftop.

External AV providers incur a charge starting from £3,600. Additional equipment beyond the included Ballroom setup (such as loading equipment on the motorised trusses) carries extra charges. LED screens (70-85 inches) cost £1,080, PA systems £650, and microphones £120, though prices are indicative and subject to availability.

The Ballroom includes specially designed pre-function areas for arrival drinks. 8 at The Londoner offers both indoor Japanese lounge space and The Shima Garden terrace with retractable roof for outdoor networking. The Gallery spaces can accommodate smaller pre-function gatherings with minimum spend requirements.

The venue offers 'first option' holds on dates while clients make decisions, with specific deadlines communicated per enquiry. Any shortfall in minimum guest numbers or minimum spend commitments will be charged as additional room hire. Exact payment terms and deposit requirements are confirmed upon booking.
