The Banqueting Hall accommodates up to 150 guests in theatre style, 100 guests cabaret style, or 130 guests for seated dining on round tables (154 on E-shaped tables). For standing receptions, the venue holds up to 230 guests in the Banqueting Hall or 70 guests in the ground floor spaces. The Court Room has a maximum of 60 guests theatre style, 30 cabaret style, or 26 boardroom style.

Weekend events have a minimum spend of £18,000. This applies to all weekend bookings regardless of guest numbers or event type.

No, external catering is not permitted. Ironmongers' Hall has an exclusive relationship with their in-house catering partners, Company of Cooks, who must provide all food and beverage services for events.

Standard evening hire runs from 6pm-11pm (with bar closing at 11pm). Daytime availability includes slots like 8:30am-12pm or 1pm-5pm. Extensions are available at £2,000 + VAT for additional 5-hour periods (such as extending from 1pm-6pm). Some events can run until 11:30pm with music stopping at 11pm or 11:15pm.

Basic packages include PA system, projector screen, back projection, lectern, and up to 3 handheld microphones. An AV technician costs £480-£485 + VAT for up to 8 hours. Additional equipment like staging (6m x 2m stage with 3m screen) starts from approximately £2,400 + VAT and requires increased build time.

Corporate day packages start from £97-£120 + VAT per person (minimum 50-150 guests) including venue hire, catering, and basic AV. Christmas party packages range from £140-£246 + VAT per person including venue hire, drinks, food, DJ, and staffing. Standing reception packages for awards events start at £120 + VAT per person (minimum 150 guests).

Dates are held on 1st option (confirmed) or 2nd option (provisional hold while another client considers). The venue requires detailed information about timings, setup requirements, catering needs, AV requirements, and budget before providing proposals. Site visits can be arranged within two weeks of initial enquiry to view spaces around existing events.

The venue cannot accommodate multiple events on the same day - if there's a daytime event booked, evening events are not possible. Some time slots like 8:30am-12pm have limited availability. Events requiring full-day access (9am-9pm) may conflict with existing bookings and cannot always be accommodated.

Standard packages typically include exclusive venue hire, all staffing and event management, glassware and linen, manned cloakroom, security/steward on entrance, basic AV equipment, and filtered water throughout. Food and beverage options vary by package but often include arrival drinks, canapés, main courses, and specified drinks packages with defined time limits.
