The Loft (third floor) requires a £2,500+VAT minimum spend on Saturdays, £1,000+VAT on Fridays, and £500+VAT on Sundays. The Games Room (second floor) has a £2,500+VAT minimum spend. The garden area requires £7,500+VAT minimum spend with 7.5% service charge. All minimum spends must be met through bar sales only - food purchases and drinks bought elsewhere in the venue do not count toward the minimum.
What are the capacity limits for each private space?
The Loft accommodates up to 60-80 guests (capacity mentioned varies in different quotes), The Games Room holds up to 60 people for mixed seated and standing, and the garden area can host up to 40 guests for group bookings. The maximum group size offered on Saturdays is 40 guests.
What are the age restrictions and dress code policies?
On Fridays after 6pm and Saturdays after 3pm, The Prince operates a strict 21+ policy with Challenge 25 ID checks. Saturdays require smart, chic and elegant dress code. Last entry is at 10pm and walk-in guests pay £8 per person entry fee from 7pm on Saturdays.
What are the venue's operating hours and closing times?
The venue closes at 11pm and the bar closes at 10:30pm. Private spaces like The Loft are available exclusively from 5pm until close. Late license until 1am is available for an additional £500+VAT fee.
What music and entertainment options are available?
You can use the in-house sound system for playlists like Spotify at no extra charge. External DJs can be brought in for £250+VAT, or the venue can arrange a DJ for £500+VAT. On-site DJ equipment usage costs £500+VAT. Live and recorded music are both permitted.
What is the deposit and cancellation policy?
The full minimum spend must be pre-paid to secure the space. Cancellation terms vary: over 30-60 days before booking gets full refund, within 30-60 days gets 50% refund, within 3-14 days forfeits the entire deposit. You can move bookings to another date within the same calendar year free of charge with 2 weeks' notice.
What food and catering options are available?
Food is ordered from rotating street food vendors and delivered to tables, with vendors changing periodically. Main and side vouchers cost £15 per person. Food sales do not contribute to minimum spend requirements. The venue does not offer bottle service menus, though bottles may occasionally be purchased at the venue's discretion.
