What are the minimum spend requirements and capacity limits for the basement wedding space?

The basement wedding space (5CC Cocktail Bar) accommodates up to 130 guests standing with a minimum spend of £3,500 including VAT, excluding 12.5% service charge. For smaller groups, The Perch semi-private area holds 60 standing with a £600 minimum spend plus 12.5% service charge.

What deposit is required and how does the payment process work?

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, which counts towards your final bill or can be refunded the next working day if you meet your minimum spend. Deposits are paid via online payment link with a paid invoice provided.

What food and drink ordering requirements must I follow?

All food and drink pre-orders must be submitted at least 7 days prior to your event, along with any allergies or dietary requirements. The venue offers canapes to accommodate various dietary needs, with menus subject to seasonal changes.

What entertainment and AV equipment is available in the space?

The basement space includes a projector screen (HDMI/VGA compatible device required), possibility to play your own music or DJ, and dance floor space. Entertainment options like DJ, live band, drag artist, or magician are available at additional cost (POA).

What are the key features and layout of the basement wedding space?

The 5CC Cocktail Bar features low lighting with a speakeasy feel, exposed brickwork, plants, booth seating, a private fully stocked bar with dedicated bar team, and mixture of booth seating and standing areas. The space has a cocktail bar focus with draught beer also available.

Are there any hire fees beyond the minimum spend?

No hire fees are charged for use of the bar space. The only financial commitment is meeting the minimum spend requirement across food and drinks, plus the mandatory 12.5% service charge.

Can I set up a bar tab or drink vouchers for guests?

Drink vouchers are only available for private hires, not semi-private bookings. For non-private events, you can set up a bar tab once you arrive at the venue.

What is the booking confirmation process and what documentation will I receive?

Bookings are confirmed through DesignMyNight with a booking reference number provided. You'll receive confirmation emails and reminder emails, with the balance deducted from your deposit payment on the day of the event.

How far in advance should I make food selections and what payment is required?

Food selections must be made and payment completed at least 7 days before your event. Additional payments for food include service charge and are processed through secure payment links provided by the venue.

What contact information should I provide and how will communication be handled?

You should provide your direct email and phone number for smooth communication regarding pre-orders and event coordination. The venue prefers direct contact to ensure efficient booking processes and event management.
