The chandeliers and sweeping and luxurious curtains create a sense of exclusivity for your private dining event. Your tables can be set up with creative centrepieces, perfect placements and impeccable table service. You can also have a more relaxed event with buffet style catering, which is still high end.

Frequently asked questions

The Private Dinner Package is £99.00 per person (minimum 35 people) or £105.00 per person (no minimum specified). Both include private room hire, arrival drink (sparkling wine or juice), 3-course set menu with tea/coffee and petit fours, half bottle of house wine per person, half bottle of water per person, and dedicated event planner. VAT at 20% and service charge are included in the £99 package.

The Canterbury Suite accommodates up to 50 people in banqueting style with 65.33 sqm of space on the 1st floor. The Ballroom Suite can accommodate up to 120 people in banqueting style (10 rounds of 12) with 174.24 sqm of space, also on the 1st floor. Both rooms have natural daylight, air conditioning, heating, disabled access, and WiFi.

Spaces are typically held on 1st option for 1 week, with automatic release if not confirmed by the deadline (usually by 5pm on the specified date). Cancellation charges are: 52-12 weeks prior: 30%, 12-8 weeks: 50%, 8-4 weeks: 80%, and within 4 weeks: 100% of function charges.

Additional drinks are charged on consumption basis beyond the included half bottle of wine per person. Printing services cost £0.75 per page for double-sided colour A4 documents. Name tag printing is available with the hotel name at the bottom. A minimum drinks spend may be required for cocktail receptions (£500-£600 including VAT recommended).

Dinner events typically run from 6pm-11pm or 6:30pm-11:30pm. Christmas packages run 6:30pm-11:30pm. Final event details must be submitted by noon on the Friday before the event (for events the following week). Any modifications after this deadline are subject to availability.

Christmas packages include dance floor, Christmas tree, novelties and crackers. A 6ft x 8ft LCD screen and projector costs £250 including VAT for the Ballroom. In-house PA system with speakers and 2 wireless microphones is available for £250 including VAT. Entertainment options are available but subject to room space constraints.

You can bring materials directly on the day of the event rather than shipping in advance. Items like roll-up banners, tablecloths, pens, and notebooks can be delivered by your colleagues. The concierge team will be updated with delivery details once confirmed, including delivery date, time, and colleague name.

Christmas packages are £115.00 per person (minimum 50 people for Regency Suite, minimum 100 people for Ballroom Suite). Includes arrival drink, 3-course festive menu, half bottle of wine and water per person, Christmas tree, dance floor, novelties and crackers, plus room hire. Service charge is not applicable for Christmas events.

Name cards and seating plans must be self-arranged by the client. The Ballroom with dance floor accommodates maximum 120 guests at 10 round tables of 12 people each, without staging. Coat rails can be set up in the Ballroom Balcony for pre-dinner arrival drinks.
