The Old Hall requires a minimum of 120 guests for dining events and can accommodate up to 120 for seated dinners or 200 for standing receptions. For smaller groups of 30-120 guests, meeting spaces are available but require minimum numbers of 30 people.

What are the exact costs for hiring the Old Hall for a dinner event?

Room hire for the Old Hall & Crypt costs £2,750 for evening events (17:30 setup, 18:30-22:30 event, de-rig by 23:00). There is also a minimum food & beverage spend of £7,310, bringing the total minimum cost to £10,060 plus VAT.

What catering options are available and can I bring my own food?

All catering must be provided in-house - outside food is strictly prohibited. The venue offers various dining packages including Christmas packages at £176 per person plus VAT (minimum 90 guests) and day delegate rates starting from £91-£127.20 per person plus VAT depending on requirements.

What are the venue's operating hours and closure periods?

Events can typically run until 22:30 with guests departed by 23:00, though extensions until midnight are available for an additional £960 plus VAT. The venue is closed for the entire month of August and closes from April 17th at 15:00, reopening April 28th for Easter.

What event types are not suitable for Lincoln's Inn?

Christmas packages include arrival champagne reception, unlimited drinks (spirits, mixers, house wines, beer, sparkling wine), nibbles, 5 canapés and 3 bowl food items. Standard dinner events can include prosecco on arrival, half bottle of wine per person, and still & sparkling water.

Can I extend my event beyond the standard finish time?

Yes, events can be extended with bar service until midnight and guests departing by 00:30 for an additional cost of £960 plus VAT. This must be arranged in advance as part of your booking.
