Day Delegate Rate (DDR) packages range from £65–£99 + VAT per person, depending on the room selected and the package inclusions.
What are the capacity limits for different room layouts in each space?
Room capacities vary depending on the layout: Room 101 or 201 accommodates up to 100 theatre-style or 72 cabaret-style. Room 102 or 202 accommodates up to 12 boardroom-style. Room 103 or 203 accommodates up to 40 theatre-style or 18 boardroom-style. Room 104 or 204 accommodates up to 20 boardroom-style. Room 105 or 205 accommodates up to 50 cabaret-style. Rooms 102 & 103 (combined) accommodate up to 60 theatre-style, 40 cabaret-style, or 30 boardroom-style. Rooms 204 & 205 (combined) accommodate up to 100 theatre-style. Main Hall accommodates up to 300 theatre-style or 184 cabaret-style.
What security requirements and costs apply for evening events?
Security is mandatory for any events running past 19:00, charged at £28+VAT per hour per guard with a minimum 4-hour shift. For groups of over 100 guests, a second security guard is required.
What are the payment terms and deposit requirements?
Payment terms: · If the event is more than 30 days away: o Deposit of 50% of the event value is due. o Additonal 50% will be due 30 days before the event takes place, with a total of 100% being paid in advance. · If the event is 30 or less days away: o Deposit of 100% of the event value is due. · Final invoice: o To include incremental charges added on the day/s of the event; will be issued after the event. All invoices to be settled within 14 days of the invoice date
What catering options and pricing are available?
Some catering options include: Classic sandwich lunch – £25 + VAT per person, served with crisps and whole fruit. Tea and coffee service – from £5.10 + VAT per person, or £6.75 + VAT per person including biscuits. Canapés – from £18–£36 + VAT per person for 3–6 items. Bowl food – from £35–£53 + VAT per person for 4–6 items. Drinks receptions – from £34 + VAT per person, per hour. Hot fork buffet upgrade – available for an additional £15 + VAT per person. What are the timing restrictions and access hours?
Standard daytime events typically run 9am-5pm. Evening hire starts from 18:00 with access from that time, though earlier access may be available if no daytime booking exists. Events extending past 19:00 require mandatory security, and the venue can accommodate events until late evening with proper arrangements.
What are the minimum delegate requirements for different packages?
Minimum delegate requirements vary by room and package: Room 101 or 201 requires minimum 50 delegates for DDR packages, Main Hall requires minimum 100 delegates, and smaller rooms like Room 204 have no stated minimums but DDR packages typically require 20+ people.
Are there additional fees for weekend events or special requirements?
Weekend events incur an additional £500+VAT staffing fee and security. Evening staffing costs £28+VAT per hour for minimum 4 hours duty.
What bar and alcohol service options are available?
Bar options include: One-hour drinks reception – £34 + VAT per person, including house wine, beer, and soft drinks. A Prosecco upgrade and extended reception packages are also available. Cashless or account bar – available with a minimum spend of £750 + VAT. Any shortfall between the minimum spend and actual bar spend will be added to the final bill.
What AV equipment and technical support is included?
Standard AV includes: 85" LCD monitor, 2x 85" LCD repeater monitors, lectern with microphone, mini PC for presentations, Wi-Fi, and AV support. The Main Hall includes enhanced equipment: PA system, 2x LCD projectors, 2x screens, multiple microphones (lectern, roving, lapel, tabletop), infra-red hearing system, and dedicated AV technician.
