What are the capacity limits for different event spaces?
The Ruby private room accommodates up to 65 guests standing or 45 seated theatre-style. The Rose private room holds up to 25 guests standing or 15 seated. The restaurant area can accommodate up to 75 guests seated or 60 theatre-style. For larger events, interconnected spaces can accommodate up to 140-150 guests standing.
What deposit and payment terms are required to secure a booking?
A 25% deposit of the minimum spend is required to secure most bookings, with the balance due at least 30 days prior to the event date. For events within 30 days of booking, full non-refundable prepayment may be required. Drinks pre-orders and dietary requirements must be submitted at least 14-30 days before the event.
Are there restrictions on event timing and days of the week?
The venue closes at 22:00 on Sundays and DJs are not permitted on Sundays. Saturday bookings may have higher minimum spends than weekday events. Events can run until 23:00-00:00 depending on the day, but exclusive hires may end earlier if other events are scheduled.
What food and beverage packages are available and are they mandatory?
Christmas packages are mandatory during the festive season and include globally inspired food served buffet-style, drinks, and mini golf. Groups are split into teams of up to 6 guests, with each team teeing off a few minutes apart. It takes approximately 30 minutes per team to complete 9 holes. For larger groups, multiple courses can be used simultaneously - a group of 120 takes about 2 hours, while 30 guests take around 45 minutes to complete the game.
What AV equipment and presentation facilities are included?
The Ruby room includes a large plasma screen, the Rose room has a small TV, and the restaurant area has a big screen with projector. Microphones are available in private rooms. HDMI cables must be brought by clients. Theatre-style seating can accommodate presentations for up to 120 guests across multiple connected spaces.
What are the booking and cancellation policies?
The venue operates on a live booking system where availability is subject to change until confirmed. Some bookings require full non-refundable prepayment due to a 30-day cancellation policy. Event contracts must be signed and returned along with the deposit to secure bookings.
