Located in the old Lecture Hall of the library, this unique venue combines contemporary facilities with a cosy, historic feel. With disabled access and access to our prep kitchen and carpark, The Burgundy Room caters to all your event needs.

This beautiful Victorian building houses the Upper Norwood Library Trust, a community run charity that keeps the library open. Located on the popular Crystal Palaces triangle, it's a prime location for events of all kinds. We host parties and events, training and workshops, even rehearsal, filming and performances. Whatever your event, we can offer the perfect space. You can hire our spacious event hall, our classroom/workshop space, the café area and even the library itself. Every hire helps keep our charity running and the library open.
