Frequently asked questions

The Rooftop ROOM requires a minimum spend of £3,000 including VAT on food and beverage services, plus a 13% discretionary service charge. This minimum spend covers the private hire of the space and must be met through food and beverage orders - if not reached, the remaining amount will be charged as room hire.

The Rooftop ROOM can accommodate up to 16 guests for seated events or up to 25 guests for standing reception-style events. This makes it ideal for intimate business meetings, client lunches, or small networking gatherings.

The venue cannot provide quotes for bookings beyond January 2025, and their event sales strategy for periods starting from October 2025 onwards is currently under review. For groups of 60 guests or less, quotes are only provided a maximum of 30 days prior to the event date.

Yes, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, the rooftop areas only offer full exclusive hires rather than partial space bookings. This may affect availability and pricing for The Rooftop ROOM on these days.

Catering options include 3 canapés at £14.00 per person, Bowl and Buns from £27.00 per person, and sweet selections from £12.00 per person (including 3 items). All food and beverage services, including items from the beverage menu, count toward the £3,000 minimum spend requirement.

Setup and teardown time is provided complimentary with bookings. Based on event schedules shown, setup typically begins 2 hours before the event start time, and teardown occurs for 1 hour after the event ends.

For bookings of fewer than 25 guests that do not require private space, you can contact the Rooftop team directly at 30 days prior to your event, or the events team can forward your inquiry to them for non-private table bookings.

The venue requires confirmation of event details including date, guest count, and specific requirements before providing detailed proposals. A discretionary service charge of 13% is added to all food and beverage bills, and if the minimum spend is not met, the remaining amount is charged as room hire.

The venue allows both DJs and live bands, with music permitted until 24:00. For business events in The Rooftop ROOM, background music and presentation equipment can likely be arranged, though specific AV requirements should be discussed during the booking process.

The venue cannot provide proposals for events from October 2025 onwards as their event sales strategy is under review. They will have further information during summer 2025 and will contact interested parties once guidance is provided.
