Gridiron is one of the many venues that COMO has to offer. This spacious and elegant place is ideal for your upcoming event, whether a business event, birthday party, or reception. The professional staff will make sure that everything goes smoothly, so you will not have to worry about anything. Delicious meals are prepared in the open-front kitchen and a wide range of drinks will undoubtedly meet everyone’s expectations. The venue is available for up to 80 guests.




Frequently asked questions

The White Room requires a minimum spend of £2,000-£4,500 on food and beverages (excluding 12.5% service charge), depending on guest count and event type. The Gridiron has a minimum spend of £1,900-£3,500 on food and beverages. The Met Space operates on room hire rates of £1,500 per day or daily delegate packages at £130 per person inclusive of VAT.

The White Room accommodates up to 65 guests standing or 50 seated. The Gridiron holds up to 80 guests standing or 22 seated per section. The Met Space has a maximum of 26 guests for boardroom style or 22 guests for other setups. The Private Dining Area at COMO The Halkin (sister property) seats up to 50 guests or 80 standing.

To secure any reservation, 100% payment is required upfront along with a signed contract. Payment details and the contract are provided upon confirmation of your booking. Spaces are typically held on first option for 7 days, after which they may be released to other clients if no confirmation is received.

Any cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled event date will be subject to the full charge. This applies to all event spaces and bookings at both COMO Metropolitan London and COMO The Halkin.

House wine starts from £42 per bottle, house champagne from £105 per bottle, and beer from £9-£10 per bottle. Canapés are priced at £30 per person for 5 pieces or £45 per person for 10 pieces. Three-course dinner menus start from £75 per person. A discretionary 12.5% service charge is added to all food and beverage bills.

External catering is not permitted due to health and safety regulations. Live music is welcome in the spaces, but DJs are not permitted. The venue can arrange chocolate tasting masterclasses with William Curley for £35 per person, and external team-building activities like cocktail making or ice sculpting can be accommodated with prior approval.

AV equipment is outsourced and costs £600 inclusive of VAT, which includes a 75-inch TV screen, setup, and transportation. Built-in plasma screens are available in some rooms. Music can be played through speakers by connecting your device, but the noise limit is 65 decibels. IT Butler services are provided for setup and technical assistance.

The White Room has room hire rates of £900-£2,000 inclusive of VAT depending on the event. The Met Space charges £1,500 per day inclusive of VAT or offers daily delegate packages at £130 per person. The Private Dining Area at COMO The Halkin is £700-£1,000 inclusive of VAT for meetings.

Room hire typically includes high-speed WiFi, meeting pads and pens, and IT Butler assistance. Additional items cost extra: tea/coffee from £7-£7.50 per serving, pastries £12-£15 per serving, bottled water £7-£8 per bottle, flip charts £30, and fresh juice jugs £20. Lunch options range from £65-£85 per person.

The venue offers a 10% commission on net revenue for qualified event planners and agencies. This commission structure applies to confirmed bookings and is calculated on the net food and beverage spend excluding service charges.
