Opened by Queen Victoria in 1845, the Great Hall, complete with striking fresco, minstrel's gallery and a ceiling of beautifully worked oak, is described as one of the most impressive surviving buildings of its kind in London and provides a spectacular setting to your special day. Accommodating up to 200, your guests enter via the Bench Rooms for your arrival reception. In inclement weather, the East Terrace can be used. The imposing wooden doors are then opened to reveal the magnificence of the Great Hall where guests welcome the newly weds to dine. It is also licensed for civil ceremonies.

For events requiring the Old Hall/Crypt space, there is a minimum requirement of 120 guests. Room hire costs vary by space and timing, with examples showing £2,750 for Old Hall & Crypt hire and minimum food & beverage spends of £7,310 for smaller events.

Lincoln's Inn operates an in-house catering only policy - outside food is not permitted to be brought into the venue. All catering must be provided by their award-winning in-house catering team, and there may be additional small fees depending on specific caterer requirements.

In inclement weather, the East Terrace can be used as an alternative to outdoor spaces. For events requiring outdoor elements, wet weather options must be arranged, with indoor spaces like the Great Hall available to accommodate guests on yoga mats or for alternative setups.
