Frequently asked questions

Whole venue hire (Theatre, Hall, Kitchen, roof terrace, green rooms) costs £12,500+VAT including full staffing, security, and PA/lighting packages. Individual spaces vary: Theatre alone is £5,500+VAT plus staffing, Earth Kitchen is £2,000+VAT with £5,000 minimum bar spend, and Earth Hall is £12,000+VAT for exclusive hire (8am-midnight). All prices exclude VAT and additional services may apply.

Earth Theatre seats up to 680 guests (700 total capacity mentioned elsewhere), Earth Hall accommodates 1,200 standing, and Earth Kitchen holds 300 guests. The venue cannot accommodate events requiring more than 700 people in Theatre or 1,200 in Hall. All spaces can be hired individually or combined for larger events.

No, EartH does not book public music events or ticketed concerts through online platforms like Hirespace. The venue requires direct contact and full event details including artist information, promotion company, and venue history before considering any exceptions to this policy.

The minimum hire period is 10 hours. Music events are confirmed on Fridays and Saturdays, so alternative events must be scheduled Sunday through Thursday for those days. The venue has high demand for certain dates and encourages quick booking decisions.

All spaces include state-of-the-art PA and lighting facilities valued at over £15,000. Earth Theatre features a spacious stage with cutting-edge AV, Earth Hall has club lighting systems and full PA, and Earth Kitchen includes DJ equipment. Large screen/projector/video technician services cost an additional £2,000+VAT.

Full event staffing and security are included in whole venue hire at £12,500+VAT. For individual spaces, staffing costs are additional and vary by space and event duration. All hire packages include mandatory venue cleaning costs and technical support staff.

EartH works with approved catering suppliers that must be introduced by the venue. Earth Kitchen events require a £5,000 minimum bar spend. Bar buy-out (if supplying own drinks) costs £3,000+VAT. The venue offers various catering packages including DDR at £33 per person and drinks packages at £20 per person for 2-hour open bar.

The venue includes a roof terrace, several backstage green rooms, 2 bars, disabled access and toilets, and staging facilities. These spaces are included in whole venue hire or can be added to individual space bookings. The venue also offers breakout spaces and networking areas.

The venue does not accept public ticketed events through online platforms and requires full event details for approval. Filming and corporate events are welcomed, with specific packages available for multi-day productions.
