Frequently asked questions

Weekend events require an overall minimum spend of £15,000 to open the venue, as 116 Pall Mall only operates during weekdays normally. This minimum applies to the total event cost including venue hire, catering, and any additional services.

Standard venue hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays. Early access before 8:00am or late access after 5:00pm/11:00pm (depending on space) incurs additional charges of £1,250 + VAT per hour. Events can be extended until 1:00am with these hourly charges applying.

A 50% deposit is required within 14 days of signing the contract to secure your booking. The deposit can be extended in special circumstances, such as until the end of September for events not until the following March. Payment can be made via BACs transfer, over the phone, or through a payment link (AMEX not accepted via payment link).

AMEX payments are accepted via PDQ machine over the phone but incur an additional 5% charge of the total invoice value per payment. AMEX is not accepted through the standard payment link system.

Contracts must typically be signed within a specified timeframe (such as by Friday if sent on Monday) to secure the space and date. Cancellation terms and conditions apply immediately after signing the contract, and spaces remain liable to sell to other clients until contracted.

Provisional holds can be placed on dates, but if another client shows interest, the original client can be given a 48-hour deadline to make a decision. Spaces are not held indefinitely and venues will follow up regularly for confirmation or release of dates.

External catering in the venue is strictly forbidden. All catering must be provided by Searcys, the venue's award-winning in-house caterers who emphasize sustainability and seasonal ingredients. Set menus are required with one dish choice per course for the whole party.

Clients must send a table plan and name places to be provided on the day of the event to ensure smooth operations. Dietary requirements will be catered for separately to the chosen set menu, and final guest numbers and menu selections are required well in advance of the event date.

Dining packages typically include champagne on arrival, three-course seasonal dinner with tea/coffee, unlimited house drinks for three consecutive hours, filtered water, security and cloakroom services, and venue hire. Christmas packages may include traditional theming and table centrepieces.

116 Pall Mall is fully accessible with accessible toilets, lift access, and ramp access available. The venue is located just 5 minutes walk from Piccadilly Circus and 4 minutes walk from Charing Cross station for convenient transport links.
