For exclusive hire of half the first floor Arena space, the minimum spend is £8,000 including VAT. Semi-private options are available with minimum spends as low as £3,000 total. For larger events, minimum spends range from £14,000 to £20,000 depending on guest numbers and requirements.
What games and activities are included in the hire?
The Arena space includes unlimited use of 2 ping pong tables and 2 pool tables. Additional games across the building (including all 5 ping pong tables, pool tables, and beer pong) can be added for £1,000-£1,500 for the duration of your event. The venue also has 2 darts oches and a karaoke room with over 25,000 songs.
Are there age restrictions for events at Bat & Ball?
The venue has a strict license requiring no under-18s on the premises after 8pm. This applies to all areas of the venue and is strictly enforced for all private events and bookings.
What deposit and payment terms are required to confirm a booking?
A signed event contract and 50% deposit are required upfront to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event date. Payment is used against food/drinks pre-orders and/or as a bar tab on the day.
What is the cancellation policy for private events?
Cancellations require 4 weeks written notice for a refund. Cancellations after this time result in forfeiture of your deposit. If you change your event date within the cancellation period, your cancellation rights are revoked, and deposits are non-refundable for non-attendance.
What AV equipment is available for presentations and entertainment?
The venue has 26 HD TV screens throughout for presentations and live sport viewing. AV support for bands, awards ceremonies, and presentations is available for £500. The venue can accommodate stages, microphones, and screens for corporate events and entertainment.
What food and beverage packages are available?
Packages start from £35 per person and include options like the Santa's Big Night Out Festive Package at £60 per person (including 4 bottles of beer or wine, sliders, skewers, half pizza per person, and desserts). All catering includes a 12.5% service charge and prices are inclusive of VAT.

The Arena floor can house 60 guests for meetings with breakout areas. For standing events with games and activities, the space can accommodate larger groups, with quotes provided for events ranging from 120-300 people depending on the specific requirements and layout needed.
