Frequently asked questions

The venue can accommodate up to 60 people for a seated wedding meal. This is a firm capacity limit that cannot be exceeded for dining events.

Weekend bookings require a minimum spend of £4,000 per day. This is a mandatory minimum that must be met regardless of guest numbers or specific requirements.

The Reception Only Wedding Package costs £171 including VAT per person (minimum 30 guests) and includes first floor venue hire from 5pm-11pm, arrival nibbles, prosecco, 5 canapés, 3 bowl foods, 2-hour unlimited drinks, bar setup, uplighters, PA system, microphones, iPad with Spotify, reception team, security and unmanned cloakroom. Total cost for 30 guests is £5,130 including VAT.

Standard wedding reception access is from 5:00pm to 11:00pm. Extended hours until midnight are available for an additional £500 plus VAT late license fee.

Wedding receptions typically use the first floor spaces including the Council Chamber and Reception Room. For larger celebrations with dancing, the Wolfson Room and Exhibition Area can be added for an extra £700 plus VAT, and the venue also has access to a rooftop terrace.

The venue includes uplighters, PA system, handheld microphones, and iPad with Spotify in wedding packages. For dancing, you can have a dancefloor in the Reception Room with background music, opt for a silent disco, or hire a DJ starting from £850 plus VAT if using the additional Wolfson Room space.

After initial enquiry, the venue provides a venue brochure, sample event menu, and bespoke proposal. Clients can request a provision hold on their preferred date and book site visits to view the spaces and discuss wedding plans in detail.
